Actually you lose 6 hours going EASTbound....(I think!!) and you GAIN the 6 hours coming back on the Westbound. So heading East last year, yes it was kind of rough, actually because we would lose an hour each night for a few nights in a row..........but unless my memory and thinking is totally wonky....I am pretty sure we will get EXTRA hours coming back.....which will be like 6 extra hours of vacation!

I like the idea of an extra 6 hours of vacation and sleep!

Ok I couldnt post yesterday.. so ill just be a day behind with all the pics of the day LOL

Here is P and I parasailing on CC... our 1st times, and we both loved it. I did it the 1st day incase he got chicken and saw people up in the are and backed out if we would have done it the 2nd day LOL mean mom what can I say.

He didnt want to get dunked not even toes, and let the guys running it know.. but they did it anyways.. just to my knees... but he made sure he lifted his legs.

He said it was fun and would totally do it again.. infact he asked while we were in Grand K and Cozumel, then again on CC lol... my lil chicken is growing up

I actually did just request a quote from DU for a single. Looking at DCL, I about fell over at how cheap it is. Even once you add airfare and a hotel in Barcelona, it may not be as bad as I thought. No committments, but we'll see. Now Stacy is out though....I'm sad! Save the day, Denise!

We'll be on the 10/30/10 cruise with you guys. DH wasn't going to pull Elliott out of school until he saw the difference in the prices so we figured 'why not have halloween with the mouse?".

And, it looks like we'll be in Key West till 7:30 on Halloween, so that might be interesting! See ya there!!!

quick question for anyone who sent postcards from castaway!!!

did any of your recipients receive their postcards yet?

while we did mail them on the 3rd, i thought they would have arrived at their destinations by now. unfortunately i've checked in with everyone, and no one has received them. i have no clue how long something takes to get to the US, but i certainly didn't think it would be this long.

It has always taken ours 2-3 MONTHS (I kid you not). This time we sent cards from Grand Cayman and they came last Monday--impressive.

Just wanted to say Alex has his "final" surgery tomorrow to remove the stent from his kidney. Hopefully all will go well.

Today I put a deposit on the 4/24 eleven day Med cruise- the one with a stop in Tunis,Tunisia. Tunis is the main reason I'm even considering the cruise. It'll just be the big kids and I. Anyone else doing that one?
