Okay it must be early - I went to the first page and didn't see any polls - directions please

I believe it is the front page of the web site not the thread. I am going to go look and will report back if I can find them. Happy Day Lois

Yes, they (the polls) are on the Web site's home page. The link is in Kimberly's Siggy. You will need to register to access the polls. I do not remember who or how to registor but it was easy I got it done. Hope this helps. Lois

Not Crissi- but we're a GTY cat 6, and haven't heard anything. The kids hope we get upgraded to a suite. They also hope we hit the Powerball and become multimillionaires so we can book the Walt suite. Our chances of being upgraded are better than hitting the lottery since I never play.

Hoping for some pixie dust for everyone.

Julie

We are also in a GTY 6 and we also have heard nothing. I am hoping that since we are in 6090 for the 3 day prior that they will just assign us the same cabin :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

Also adding on to that do you just show up for the various tastings:drinking1 or do you have to sign up for them?

Sign up at Guest services when you board and you will get a ticket. Usually people tend to agree which day they want to do them so we all aim for a certain day. As the navigators get closer you can make a prediction as to the day.

You are correct. If you made the on-line payments, you'll remember there's a drop-down box for the payment type (Payment in Full, Interim Payment, etc.). Select "OTHER". Then just below that in the "Notes" field, state that you want those funds to be applied to your shipboard credit.

How would I go about doing this if I didn't use a TA? I booked through DVC. I'd love to build up our onboard account before we go.

Also - next question...the first (and only) time we sailed we were lucky enough to be in the Walt Suite (can you say, OMG?!). Anyway - I remember when we woke up the morning of CC - the view of CC was incredible - the Walt Suite faced that direction (the Port side).

A recent photo I saw of the Magic looks like they back in to CC now - giving the Starboard side the view.

My poor dh didn't get to go on that first cruise with us (long story, involved a brain tumor - all very much okay now). The morning I woke up on that cruise and went outside on our very large verandah (had to get that in ;) ) - I called my dh from my cell (can't believe it worked - can't remember how much it cost) and said, "I now know what heaven will look like when I die."

For 10 long years, he's been waiting to wake up to that view. Now, I'm beginning to wonder if we're on the wrong side of the ship...

HELP?! Anyone know?

All of the times that I have cruised we have backed in at Castaway - hope that helps! By the way, watching them back that huge cruise ship in is the best - I recommend going out and watching - amazing! :thumbsup2

it is now the Starboard side that faces CC. We were on the port side of the boat last time.

Also the fireworks are launched from the starboard side.

Thanks - slightly bummed. But, better to know ahead of time!!

Would be nice if they switched it each time we're at CC!! Pull in one time, back in the next! A girl can dream...

Now - does anyone know about how to add to the onboard account when not using a TA? Thanks :hippie:

I just got a call from DCL about our 1st stop at CC. We had a cabana massage scheduled for 2P & they called to reschedule since we wouldn't be able to complete it before having to be onboard. HUH?

Turns out, all onboard for that CC stay is now 2:30PM rather than 4 or 4:30. According to what I was told, Magic will now be leaving around 3PM. Bummer. :sad2: I made mention that our day is cut really short now & was 'reminded' that we have 2 stops for CC on this sailing. Yeah, thanks a lot.

BTW, we're now scheduled for 1P on our couples massage. Hhhhmmm.....not sure how relaxing this will be:
10 stingrays
11ish drop DD at kids activities
11:30ish lunch - DH & me (DCL rep assured me DD would get lunch w/kids activities)
1 couples massage
2:30 all aboard!

Ok, I'm tired now. :faint:

I believe I mentioned before how I refuse to say squat about how much time we have in port??? Yeah, stuff like this is why. 'Cause, ya know, that day at sea waits for NO ONE...

Ok..DH asked me this morning if on the 'non special' dinner nights he can wear slacks and a polo shirt or a hawaiian shirt. I told him I would ask the experts here. I'm just starting to get packing items in order and want to start looking for any additional items I need to purchase.

In the rotational restaurants, slacks and a polo (or Hawaiian shirt) are perfect for casual nights.
