OMG, I just read that the Magic carries Krispy Kreme Donuts! :woohoo:
Where we live, there is no KK nearby, so this is exciting for me.............sad, I know :rolleyes1

OMG ARIN same here.. we used to have one but they took it out.. no clue why.. I know the boys and I were there all the time LOL

I love Krispy Kream donuts too...

Hubby is convinced that the best donuts in the world (and they were featured on some Food Network "Best Donut" show!) are ones that I actually grew up with...Round Rock Donuts.

I grew up in Round Rock, TX and there is a shop, RR Donuts, that uses cornmeal as part of the donut (and it makes for a yellow, airy donut instead of a white thicker donut). It's like eating a donut made out of cotton candy...they just melt in your mouth.

So we see the donut show on Food Network, & Jeff says "Hey, didn't you grow up in Round Rock? Doesn't your Mom still live in Round Rock? Haven't we visited Round Rock hundreds of times? Why haven't you taken me to RR Donuts??"

To me, they were just "what you ate". Didn't think much of them being special or anything. But after going back now 10 years later, oh my...they ARE the best donut ever.

So if you're ever passing through Austin, you simply must make the short trek up to Round Rock and check out their donuts...right off the highway...you shouldn't miss it.

Now, shame on all this donut talk. I want something sweet :badpc:

Well, got an email from Dolphin Discovery and it looks like everything is ok. They confirmed a spot for our 4 year old. The language difference can be funny - They refer to my son saying "we added your little kid to the encounter" - I know perfectly well that it wasn't meant to be derogatory in any way... but it just sounds weird!!!

They said the same thing on my email. I guess I'm just used to it. I work in Imports where we deal with people in lots of other countries. The best is Costa Rica. Every time I call my counterpart there she is at lunch or "lunching" as they say. Very funny! We got our confirmation also! DH, DD, DS, Mom and Sis are also coming along! I think we took over the 1PM spot! Cozumel here we come!!!

BTW...........love the Krispy Kreme donuts too ! They used to have one right near us but it closed! Rats but better for the diet ! Now back to cleaning.......I have about 50 people coming over Sat for the kids combined Birthday party.

Most importantly..........pixie dust for baby Sarah to go home soon!

Crissi

Diana...was that you asking about the zip line? I've never done it (this will be our first time to Cozumel) but I researched it pretty thoroughly a few months ago. I found out that the zip line (on the excursion sponsored by DCL) is not in the "jungle" or anything, it is actually between two large rock climbing towers. I found that it just wan't what I expected from a zip line experience. There are (or...there is at least one) video on youtube that will show you what the place is like. We decided not to do it cause we were wanting the "zip through the jungle" like Tarzan kindof experience. :confused3
And I did already know this but I have to get on the ball sailing with you folks. Sounds like if we wanted to do Dolphins then it is quickly getting too late! Course we just did the one in Nassau last year. It's going to get down and dirty around here come 90 days......lol......:scratchin

DREA - I didn't forget about your zip line question. I really haven't had the time to research it this week, but I will over the weekend.

JEN - Yes, that was me about the zip line.

We (Bryce and I) are looking to zip through the jungle also. Thanks for the information about the DCL excursion. It definitely is not what we want to do.

When I was in Cancun, my sister and I were going to do the zip line until I asked if we would see snakes and they just rolled their eyes and said oh yes...many snakes! I wasn't sure if the tour operators were joking or not, so we did not go! I don't even like rubber snakes!

Went horseback riding on the beach and went to see the Tulum Ruins instead and had a wonderful time!

JEN - That was so cute about the Nosy dwarf!

I hope little Sarah comes home soon.

As for the question of the week...I FINALLY asked my DBF what his answer is - it only took like 3 days!

Me - anything Disney, cross stitch books, twin items (mostly for my parents because I'm a twin), and shot glasses.

DBF - Vs. Cards, Mr. Potato Heads (Variant ones only), Disney Pins, dust, AT-43figures, debt, A&A Miniatures, comic books and souvenirs.

Good question of the week! :)

Just wanted to share some photos from our trip, we got back yesterday. We celebrated our 31st Wedding Anniversary Wednesday at WDW:
I left DH in the room and went to the P&PP on the 26th. Rode Toy Story and saw Prince Caspian at DHS. Had a blast.
Also did the Richard Petty Ride Along...

I love that you left your DH in the room as you celebrated your anniversary.. thats how a gal should celebrate ALONE LMAO::yes::
The Ride along looks like so much fun, how neat of a memory!

shoes99: Great pics, thanks for sharing :thumbsup2

Jen: I am sure little sarah will be home in no time pixiedust:

I have been having a problem for the last few days with the dis DD site. I can log in, but I am unable to look at any of the forum topics. Is it just me? Someone help...........Fizzgig?

Jen, I'm so sorry little Miss Sarah isn't home yet. I can't imagine how anxious you all are to have her home where she belongs!

Michele, congrats on your 31st annivesary!! I love your pics!! I tell ya...after seeing your hot date with Prince Caspian, I bet your DH won't leave you off on your own again! :rotfl:

Arin, I've had the same problem with opening up any posts within a forum. I dropped Brandie an IM a couple of nights ago. I was able to get in from my laptop at work yesterday, so I thought maybe she or Jeremy addressed it. However, I see that this morning, I still can't get in on my home laptop. :confused3

About the disdoubledip not loading thing... The only thing I can think of is that Microsoft came out with a vaguely worded patch for IE7 in the past week or so. The real deal is IE7 has lately started not loading certain types of files on the internet. The patch fixes that problem. I started seeing the issue last week, and talked about it at work. Someone let me in on the update and I saw in auto-update a few days later.

Lemme see if I can find the name of the patch.

ETA:
Update for Windows XP (KB932823)
Install this update to resolve an issue in which a user is unable to use Windows Internet Explorer 7 to download files on a computer that is running Windows XP with IME enabled. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.

Wonderful pictures, Shoes!!!! I love the Jack Sparrow picture!

How is everybody's Friday going so far?

We're having a great Friday so far! We're on our way to a homeschool hike today & then home for a big NAP!!!:cool1:

Anyone have big plans for the weekend? Us? Not much...mostly house-worky things...snore..

Shoes99: I am so looking forward to cruising with you again. Can't wait to see you and everyone else.

I am also keeping Sarah in my prayers. It is so hard when our little ones are not well and it feels like their lives hang in the balance. I trust that she will be home under your loving care soon. Lois

Our plans are to spend all the spending money I had saved to replace a drain in our basement. Got to have the whole back yard dug up and the pipe replace so the condensation from our AC will have someplace to go. The house was build in 1941 and the clay drain just is no more. I do so (NOT) love home ownership. Lois

Keeping Sarah in our prayers.

We're trying to redo our airline tickets. Everyone says its easy to do with Southwest, but sometimes I'm technologically inept.

Also, we're planning to stay at WDW three nights before the cruise (Contemporary with my older sister), and maybe 2 nights after at SSR if we can get in.

Julie

That sounds like quite a possibility. On my work laptop, I have IE 6.0 SP2 with WIN XP Professional. At home, I have IE 7.0 Windows Vista Home Premium. I'll try the patch this weekend.

Thanks, Brandie!!

Update: Oh wait...you said the patch was for WIN XP but the laptop it won't work on is Vista. I'll check out MS's site. Vista is such a joy anyways, ya know.

Our thoughts go out to Sarah and her family. It must be so hard to have her away from you right now. I am looking forward to seeing her on the cruise. My daughter was exactly the age Sarah will be on her first cruise. So, seeing her will bring back such wonderful memories. :goodvibes

Our plans for the weekend - I'm getting some paperwork done for our business. Saturday is supposed to be a rainy day, so I'm going to get all the "yucky" stuff out of the way. We have to get the kids packed for camp - I can't believe they're leaving in only three weeks! I might go out and get myself a nice pedicure as a treat for having to do math all weekend (I hate taxes).

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I hope Sarah is home soon!!
