Stephen Curtis has touched many many people with his music through the years. He & his family are huge avocates for adoption. As we have a 5 yr old adopted from China, this hits us especially hard. I just can't imagine losing a child....
I'm going to hug Emmie especially hard today.

My DD will be 9, she is the best friend of Crisschef, I hope she can move up or Danielle can move down, not sure which yet. DS will be 6, he also likes the girls better, I think he has been around them more.

so happy for David Cook, I was NOT a fan of Archuleta although DS was.Steven Curtis Chapman, he was our speaker for the Candlelight Processional in Dec 2007, he was amazing! Such sad news for him and his family

AI: I preferred David Cook but actually wanted David Archuleta to win. Cook would have a great career in music no matter what (Daughtry-esque) and might have actually benefitted from avoiding the traps that come with being the American Idol. Archuleta, on the other hand, would have been better off having the AI people tell him what to do instead of his nutty father (that poor kid).

The Chapmans: I simply cannot imagine. Such a time of celebration for the family - Maria just had her fifth birthday, the eldest daughter just got engaged, the eldest son graduating from high school - and now tragedy. Devastating for the entire family of course, but I don't know how the son who was behind the wheel will ever be able to deal with it...

I sent anewmac a PM just to make sure I was on that list. I've been buying things and looking for items.

I'm trying to figure out the age ranges for the kids who are participating in the FE. Is that posted anywhere on this thread or not at this point?

Thanks for asking, much better!!!! She is home today, she was supposed to go on a school trip and I couldnt go so I didnt feel comfortable having her too far from me, I am a bit neurotic

I agree, I REALLY wanted David Cook to win, but if he didnt he would still have a career, we also think he is a lot like Daughtry, but I think I like Cook better, somthing about him, his sincerity? he seems like and absolute doll

I feel COMPLETELY confused by the FE and Secret Mickey, I dont mean to offend anyone I am sure its me!!!

I have a bunch of stuff that I want to put in the FE for the kids, do I just put them in EVERY FE? Or Do we get a specific kid to give gifts to?

Secret Mickeys: Do we get a family? An individual person? Do Steve, the kids and I each get someone? Are teh kids involved or are they just doing FE?

You're correct. The list I have on the DisDoubleDip website has been from people who have mentioned at one time or another that they wanted to participate. Drea (anewmac) has requested that you confirm with her if you want to participate. In terms of number of people/ages of kids (if any)/cabin numbers, I have passed all that along to her IF you're on my Unofficial List. The Unofficial List is a welll...list that those of you who at one point or another said you were interested.

No one should feel silly about not understanding this whole thing!! You might want to see if Post #6 or in the Fish Extender Forum on the website, which includes an explanation of what Drea's thoughts have been up to this point as well as instructions on how to get on the OFFICIAL list. Eventually, Drea will pass along the official list to me so the website can be a true reflection, which I think we need to start seeing since we all do want to start/finish shopping or crafting.

If these resources don't answer your questions, I certainly would get on the website and post in the Fish Extender Forum your questions so those who are interested can learn, too!

Drea, I know you've been extremely busy with a lot of things in the past couple of months, so I can see it would have been difficult to focus on our games. Can you provide any more updates for the group on what's going on, please?
