Thanks for sending the email with your info. Thought you might be interested in knowing that you're not the only family coming from Long Island. There are many other families in your area but outside of Long Island as well. I know many of them will speak up and introduce themselves to you as well.

Hello! We just booked our double dipper yesterday. This cruise is to celebrate our daughter's big move into the double digit world, so it's only fitting we double dip to honor her turning 10!
Congrats to the new mom and baby. I realized, baby Sarah will be exactly the same age our daughter was the first (and only time) we sailed the Magic.
We're starting our trip at WDW to celebrate our dd's birthday (it's actually the day before the cruise). She's inviting about a dozen friends and family to meet us in WDW before we leave for her birthday - hopefully they'll all be able to join us. Then, we'll move on to the ship with just the three of us (our two older sons will have to stay behind because of school).
So - on the boat it will be me (Stella, 44), DH (Dan, 47) and DD (Morgan, 10). We'd love to hear from some other 10-11 year old girls!
Once we get all caught up reading the boards, we'll let you know what we'd like to participate in. I know we'll definitely do the school supply donations and the Secret Mickey (or whatever it's called - my brain is still on overdrive). LOL.
Looking forward to getting to know all of you.

....Have any of you made any door magnets yet?....

My daughter Madison (Maddie) will be ten on June 11th. She is wanting to talk to some girls her age before the cruise, but she didn't like the kids meet thread on the doubledip website for some reason.
Anyone else with girls in Maddie's age group are welcome to PM me as well.
I have accumlated SEVERAL graphics for magnets. Some from DISers Kristine, Michelle, and RumblyTumbly. Plus I have some that I've found around here and there. I was actually thinking about attacking those last weekend to make decisions on which ones I want to print. It's still on my to-do list though.![]()
I need to get busy with that. I only have 17 more weekends to get this task done afterall (minus the weekends that I already have booked)!!![]()
I'm heading off to bed...when I wake up, we'll be one day closer to the cruise!!!!![]()
That literally made me laugh out loud, Amy! Thanks...I needed that!
My DD is 11 and her friend Abby who is on the crusie also (Hoagie Pie's daughter) will be 11 as well which puts them in the same group as your DD. DS9 will be close to 10 and is going to bump up if they let him as he has done all the activites in the 8-9s group a couple of times now (he tends to hang more with the girls than the boys) so I may see a lot of your DD on board. We are BUSY now, but in a couple of weeks when things settle down DD is pretty good about emailing also if your DD does not get enough girls by then PM me
_ to not wear white shirts and all of us to wear things which dry pretty quickly and waterproof sandals (squishy shoes are the pits). Then when Florida downpours comes we LOVE it because so many people leave us to enjoy the park by ourselvse (or so it seems). We onced watched a huge group of people go running from the (covered) line to Splash Mountain when a rain storm rolled in (uh--weren't they going to get wet on the ride anyway?
). That struck us as totally hysterical
