Anybody into college football Saturday night in the Sports bar????
I went into the sports bar last Sept 07 Western Sailing, to watch football.
The place was jumping, lots of patrons wore sports jerseys. They had satellite TV so they kept changing the channels to give everyone a look at their favorite college team.
I'll probably see you there...

Julie, so glad to hear surgery went well - the WDW pics are great!

Denise, congrats on your nursing award! How wonderful to be recognized by your peers... good for you!! :cheer2:

Loyal Green Bay Packer and Oregon Duck fans here!!!:cheer2: Actually, my husband is beyond what would be considered a "fan". He lives for football.:happytv: Our son's football career is already planned out in DH's head.:rotfl: Green and Yellow together isn't my idea of fashionable, but I make it work.:lmao:

Does anyone know what time Southwest usually relases the flights? They are not out yet (I've been cecking all morning). Yes, I need to get a life--but I will not be able to enjoy going out in this beautiful spring weather if I think i am missing booing to do it:upsidedow

Our local news is reporting that around 5:35 EDT this morning, there was noticable ground shaking from the 5.2 earthquake in southern Illinois. They even specifically referenced my suburb as having people report in that it woke them up. I'm bummed I missed it. They come few and far between in Ohio. Last one I recall I was maybe 7 years old.

We missed it too. Slept right through it. Will need to call my in-laws to see if it woke them up. They live north west of Chicago. Still a little early. Lois

LOVE IT! Yes, we are USC Trojans and LOVE college football. Thanks dadorzey for the schedule, but disappointed that my Trojans won't be on. Always watch the football Saturday night in Diversions! I will be wearing my, one of many, USC shirts!!!:cool1:

Thanks Buckeye Gal - I will see you there! I hope all you midwest people are safe after the earthquake - HATE THOSE THINGS!!! I was in the Southern Cal one in 1994 and decided after the degree, we need to leave.

UGH! The price is right at $211/person. A year ago I was hoping for $190, so like Hadley, I'm chalking it up to fuel. HOWEVER, I apparently have my debit card to make the purchase at home!!!!!!! I've looked everywhere in my purse. I'm thinking it is possible it's sitting beside my laptop.

So.......I'll have to wait until this evening. :sad2:

Oh kimberly how frustrating! I am sure the fares will not change by tonight but I know how anxious you are to feel that this piece is DONE (as anxious as I was!). Dave actaully has our cc # memorized so he never needs it for online bookings:lmao:

Hmmm-now I can work on lining up our ground transportation. I believe that will be on Tiffany Towncar--the best!

I found $297pp on Southwest and I'm happy to get it - prices on other airlines have been sitting right around the $360pp mark for bad flight times with ugly layovers. :scared: I have to wait to book though - we're traveling with my mom, sister, and nephew, and they cannot make up their minds if they want to go in a day early and visit the Kennedy Space Center. I asked them to PLEASE make up their minds by today so we could book right away... but no. :sad2:

So, I'll be doing the "yay we booked our flights" dance HOPEFULLY sometime this weekend!

We did decide to fly home late on the 4th, getting a day room at the Hyatt MCO so we can swim and relax before our flight. I balked at the price of the Hyatt initially, but now that Southwest rates are out I see that the latest flight Saturday is the cheapest, so we *almost* make up the cost of the Hyatt room by taking that final flight. :thumbsup2 And I'm still hoping to get the Hyatt on Hotwire as our trip approaches.

There's a thread on the DCL Main forum about getting the Hyatt from yesterday... It listed the amenities to look for. :thumbsup2 Here's the thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1794522

Adrienne--Personally, since Southwest makes it so easy to change your itenerary later on (and you only pay is you switch to pricier tickets and then only the difference--and you get money back if you switch to less expensive ones) I would go ahead and book my best guess and then change later if needed.
Okay--I have to get back to painting the tree house:)
