Does anyone know that for the Double Dip to Castaway Island if one can book a cabana for each day if available?? or is it one per cruise??
I'm on the May 17th Double Dip FB group and it was reported there that all cabanas for that cruise are already booked. Even on double dips, they seem to book up immediately to concierge.
We booked a cabana on SB for both days on our Double Dip.
REALLY too bad they allow people to book BOTH days, because that means we don't get any!![]()
Yes, we were.You are concierge?
I didn't get one for the May double dip, but I am a lowly silver. Honestly with how much concierge guests pay extra, I do think it is fair for them to be able to snatch up all the cabanas for both days. Yes, I won't get one now, but they are paying a premium for those extra benefits so I understand. One day when I pay the premium, I'll get one!
I've sailed concierge. I've sailed insides & many rooms in between. I've gotten a cabana both with and without concierge. I agree, the price gap even to bump up from the family verandah up to the same size room in concierge is significant. I'm good with them having that perk. I know I'll enjoy having it myself at some point in the future.I didn't get one for the May double dip, but I am a lowly silver. Not really. Do you want to limit all excursions as well? If something is available when your booking window opens, then you should be allowed to book what you like.
Palo and Remy are limited to once per cruise - well, twice if you do brunch and dinner - pre-boarding. I personally would put cabanas in that category rather than an "excursion" like the sting rays or something.
Yes. Concierge will get you any/all upcharge meals you ask for. No limit.I've not tried as a Concierge passenger, but I'm willing to bet Shoreside can make reservations at Palo or Remy for more than one night, especially for Royal Suite guests.
