Hi everyone! Just looking for opinions. We are going to Disney in September with our 2 children, ages 2 1\2 & 4. I'm not sure what is the better way to travel. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, so we will have access to the busses and boats. What do you think is the better way to go?

We went in Dec for 2 weeks with our almost 2 1/2 yr old and almost 5 year old. We opted for 2 single Maclaren's rather than our double (which is a jogger). The 2 Maclaren's worked great for us. It was easy to go through stores and it was easy to get on and off the transportation. The only downside was that it was a bit hard for one person to push 2 strollers if needed so if one went off to ride something while both kids were tired or asleep, the person staying with the strollers was stuck. Most often though I could have my older walk and we just left one stroller by the ride and I pushed my younger. I REALLY liked having 2 singles for bathroom stops and for shopping though. I hate taking the double into stores and restrooms.

We usually take our double to DL where we are walking and not doing transportation but I was glad to have the 2 singles at WDW despite the few inconveniences!

When we were there in May we used two single strollers for our then two-year-old twins. We have two different double strollers - a tandem one (Graco) and a jogging stoller and my boys always seem to fight with each other/pest each other when we use them, so we often opt to use the two single strollers - it just works better for us. We found the single strollers were compact and easy to get on/off the busses, etc. I remember looking at some people traveling with double strollers and it didn't seem as easy to transport them. The only downfall is that both you and DH will have to push a stroller.

Good luck with your decision. I know I went back and forth trying to decide until almost the day we left.

I plan to take to single strollers with me during my trip this fall. My kids will be 2 1/2 and 5 and I know there will be times when my husband and I each take one of them to do something on their own. I have not used these my self but I remember Erin from the mom panel recommending stroller clips as a possible solution. You can take 2 seperate strollers and if you purchase these clips you can connect your two strollers to make one double. I think she said they were available on amazon and possibly babies r us. You can read more about them on the mom's panel if you are interested. Hope that helps. Have a great trip.
