Double Checking: BWV & Undiscovered FW?

When I booked our Undiscovered Future World tour, I asked the CM if we would have to take a bus around to the front of Epcot, or could we enter through International Gateway. We are to be at Guest Relations at the front of Epcot by 8:45am. The CM said no, we cannot enter through International Gateway that early. But I know I've read on here before that you CAN get in that way, that the bridge to France is closed, but you can go through the UK area/side. Does anyone know FOR SURE? Anyone done this before? We will have our car and can drive, but would prefer to walk if we can get through. Thank You!

I know many people have done this. They have said that there is a list of people doing the tour. Just make sure you get there early enough to walk to the front of the park.

I'd seriously consider driving. You'll be able to get into the International Gateway without any problems, but it's a LONG walk to the front of the park, and you'll be doing lots and lots of walking on the tour. I took a cab from the BWV to the front of Epcot, and was glad I did because I was really wiped out by the end of the tour.

You're really going to love the tour, I though it was great!

you know, I was wondering this too but for the world showcase tour.

But if you drive to the front of the park, then at the end of the tour, I'd have to walk all the way back to the front of the park to get the car.

Do you think I could just meet the tour at World Showcase?

I would take a cab. I grabbed a cab from BWV to the Epcot FW entrance and it only cost $7.50.

I walked from the IG to the inside Guest Relations for our UnDiscovered FW tour. This does work out. The CMs are supposed to have a list of ADRs for the Princess Breakfast at Norway, and also the confirmation numbers for anyone doing a backstage tour. It doesn't hurt to have your confirmation number handy. Our one slow down was that we went on an EMH back when Magic Your Way tickets were new, and many people didn't know how to do the finger scan! We still had wait time at Guest Relations.

For the World Showcase tour I think you check in at OUTSIDE Guest Relations, at least we did way back in 2001. That would mean you have to get to the front of Epcot. Several of our Backstage Tours have left from the OUTSIDE, including Gardens of Epcot, and Yuletide Fantasy.
