. . . And yes, this is practice for Disney to cancel double ADR's and it is a good policy. How were they to know you only wanted dessert? You were double booked and the rule is not to double book . . .
1) Double booking is big problem.
2) Make that a huge problem.
3) It halts others from making reservations.
4) Canceling a doubled reservation makes sense.
5) Been there, did that.
