Double BOB stroller

Hello,
We are planning a trip in October, and would love to bring our BOB duallie. Does anyone know if this would fit in the back of a regular size car. We will be renting a car, and want to make sure it fits. We have a minivan at home.

My friend has this stroller and when she first got it she had a Saturn Aura and was able to get in the trunk with ease, which she was unable to do with her regular sized Graco when she just had one baby. I cant remember if she had to take the wheels off but I dont think she did.

Not sure about the car, but you may not be able to bring it into the parks.

From the WDW site:

A. Items that you may not bring into the Theme Parks include, but are not limited to:

Items with wheels, such as wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36" x 52", suitcases, coolers, or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations), and any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller
Alcoholic beverages
Weapons of any kind
Folding chairs
Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
Pets (unless they are service animals)
In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

Looking at the Bob site I see some duallies that are 58.2 x 41.9 x 30.6 inches and 54.7 x 41.9 x 29.4 inches.

We've brought a double bob and never had a problem with it in the parks. However, we also took a van cab when we took a cab as a regular cab was not big enough for all of us and our luggage.

I am sure you can bring it to the parks. It is only a bit larger than the disboard loved citi mini and is now rented by Orlando stroller rentals. We are bringing it for our trip on May. As to the original question, it fits in the trunk of a honda civic.

I can't offer any advice regarding whether it would fit in a car, however, from what I can tell, that is a pretty expensive stroller. Keep in mind that you will be leaving your stroller unattended quite often while you go on rides and attractions. Stroller theft is not a huge problem, but it can and does happen. Just something to think about when deciding if you want to bring it or not.

we have a Bob single for our new baby. i am not taking it to WDW in December. i'm sure it would probably be fine, but i don't want to take the chance of someone stealing it.

Thanks for the replies. I would rather have a double mcclaren, or something like that , so it folds easily. The problem is my son is 5 and he does not use a stroller anymore,so I do not want to buy one just for the trip.
So if the BOB fits in the car, we might be doing that.

Has anyone really had a stroller stolen?

People have reported stroller theft. I am concerned about bringing our BOB for that reason but it is more important to me that my children are comfortable and that I and DH are happy pushing our stroller. Love our BOB. We are also driving so no folding worries. I am bringing a lock to lock the back wheels together. They sell them on Amazon but I think we are just using a bike lock.

We brought our uppa baby to WDW and had no fear of leaving it. We did have a lock to lock the wheels together, but used it once and that was it. We had our name on it in a few place some obvious.

I think the incidence of stroller theft is greatly exaggerated. I think a lot of people have similar strollers and they either get taken by accident or they are moved and people can't find them and assumed they are taken.

To the original question, is a single full size stroller with a cheap umbrella an option? You can put the umbrella in the basket of the full size unless needed.

we used our single bob last sept and had no problems with theft. You could always take one of the wheels with you or get something to lock the brake on.
