Dorney Park Photo Trip Report

Hey, whats up guys? I just went to Dorney Park with my friends on May 10th, and thought I’d do a mini-photo trip report to kick off the summer! Just to lighten up the mood and stuff haha…

Anyway, what happened was that my school was holding a campus wide trip to dorney park after finals week.. and luckily, we were allowed to bring 2 guests.. so naturally, a bunch of us brought people we knew from highschool that went to other schools lol… our group had about 8 people, so we were almost taking up entire trains when we went on certain rides lol.. it was a blast! A LOT of things happened that day haha… but ill just stick to the family friendly fun stuff

Sooo yea…. Its been a while since ive done one of these.. so well see how it turns out lol..








This was about half of the group… we were just hanging out and relaxing…. Shootin some B-ball outside, it was cool.. when a couple of guys.. they were up to no good.. started makin trouble in the neighborhood.. we got in a fight and my mom got sca-….. sorry.. got side tracked as I was typing XD ... (im the one in the black hoody)

It was supposed to rain that day haha… so the first thing we did was hit up all of the roller coasters before they closed down… soo I didn’t get to take many pictures of us doing that.. we were just in a rush.. but it turned out.. it didn’t rain at all!! It was sunny actually lol… so we just started to do everything we saw.. including the best kinds of rides.. The kiddy rides!!






My buddies are getting ready for some intense 2 mph speeds!!! .. so buckle up for safety!!

2 fast, 2 furious!!!!!

I took this when I was driving over a bridge thingy… yea that’s right! I DRIVE!! Shun the non believers!! SHUUUNN!! (inside joke lol)

Hot rods? Sure, why not.. ive been meaning to go car shopping anyway.. I really really did like the pink one though… its secksy

After we got done with the whole car stuff.. we just kinda walked around lol… since we like ran in the morning, we kinda finished the entire park by like 5 pm… so we just hung out and did everything a 2nd time lol..




The main thing about Dorney is that its really 2 parks in 1.. a water park, and theme park.. but since its still a bit chilly out… the water park was closed… so we went to the next best thing!! A dirty creek thingy!!

:: sticks nose in the air:: ….. as you can see back there, people wet themselves in our presence….

This thing was making sooo much noise… I was scared for the riders haha.. it literally sounded like it would break down!!

mmmm…. This box just really creeped me out, so I took a picture of it lol… pure evilness..

This was the biggest roller coaster in the park… Steel Force… it looks A LOT smaller in the pictures than it really was haha.. its 200 ft and it goes crazy fast!! Amazing ride!

Haha, they put it right next to the oldest and shortest roller coaster in the park.. Thunder Hawk.. it completely fails when you look at it next to Steel Force XD

The lift hill takes forever to reach the top!! So to pass the time, I decided to take a picture… I know I know!! It’s a really dumb idea to take pictures on a roller coaster.. but it did come out pretty cool looking..!.. even though im a bit crosseyed in it XD

Haha, my friends were literally crying by the end of the ride!!! It was soo funny… their tears were literally hitting me throughout the ride!! No lie! At first I thought It was raining.. but then I noticed that the water was coming from the sides of their cheeks!!

After that, we just redid a few rides until it got night out.. and then we just went to get some pizza hut for dinner… we were BALLIN!!! Haha… but in all seriousness… a penny saved is a penny earned?

And that was pretty much it folks… we got crazy lost and almost died on the way home, but that’s another story for another time lol….. hope you guys enjoyed the report, and thanks for the time!! Comments are appreciated!

& We have that swing ride at Canada's Wonderland...I'll go on ANYTHING in that park BUT the swings....soooo scary!!!!! I hate that there'sjust a tiny bar reventing you from flying out and cracking your skull.

And are your eyes seriously blue???
Me & my friend at work were just talking the other day about how amazing asian people with blue eyes are.

Ahaha I live like 45 minutes from Dorney. Actually 1 of the 2 hospitals I stayed in during chemo was across the road. You'd look out the windows and see roller coasters.

What took so long to get to Steel Force?

The closest theme park to us is Thorpe Park (might not even be that) and that's an hour's drive away -_- It was awesome when we went though

caitlin: haha yeaaa!! now that you mention it, it does look like sid!! and for serious!! the only thing thats keeping you from being launched across the park on that ride is a tiny chain that looks eroded haha... its like a death machine.. and nah haha.. my eyes are brown.. i wear blue contacts because im fake like that XD


imabrat: for true?!? thats awesome!! haha, yea, i live about a hour and a half away from dorney.. if i lived 40 mins from a theme park, id probably never be home XD... and yeaaaaaa... we wanted to save steel force for last lol.. end the day with a bang and all ... we did it twice haha
