Dorky Disney Cruisers, 11/22-26/06,Anyone else with us???

Man I am just dying here...It is so hard to wait those last few days. I am so busy but on the back of my mind I am constantly thinking...how long til I leave, how lond til I leave.

One question, though.

I am trying to secure the Dolphin excursion in Nassau and it is still all booked. Do you guys think I will be able to get my two boys on the trip with their grandfather (who is alredy signed up)? Obviously he would not go if it is just him, but I am afraid to drop his reservation just in case I can get them on. They all really want to do it (and so do I for that matter). I assume we go directly to the excursions desk to reserve it?

I know they hold Palo bookings for those who don't book online. I know you can try to switch your dinning when you arrive. I pretty sure they do hold some spaces for the excurisons at least they have in the past. The key would be to get to the desk as soon as it opens since the Dolphin excursions are so popular. In the past it was 1:30 that the desk opened up. So send someone right to the desk it is on deck three right near where we board. Before online reservations I got in line for Palo's reservations at 1:00 and was the first one there. So double check maybe even when you check in that time the desk opens.

You just got back - are you going again to the parks? Lucky you! I read your threah about the being bumped on Delta good for you sounds like you got a great deal. Maybe you get bumped again for this trip?

good question Josh - I wish I could answer it. I just don't know how they work. Is there any way you call somebody and talk to them?

Last Sunday Nov 12th I never saw the airport so crazy. It seemed like ever flight was overbooked. They were begging for volunteers. We volunteered

1 We were given $400.00 "Each" in Delta
travel vouchers to be used within one year time (can transfer to anyone)

2 Hotel vouchers for Hyatt airport hotel (Magnificent)

3. $21.00 each in meal vouchers (can be used anywhere in the airport including the Hyatt)

4. Delta overnight kits (many toiletries & Delta tee shirt)

5. Was re-booked the next morning Monday the 13th to MCO to MIA (1hr.) then MIA to LGA
"First Class" 2 1/2 hr. Flight.

5. Voucher for town car transportation from LGA to Jersey

We were wined dined & phampered!!!!

We are staying 2 nights at Pop before the cruise. We will be at MK on Tuesday. After the cruise, we head to our timeshare in Kissimmee for a whole week of WDW!

We are flying out on Sunday, & will be in MK on Monday. We are staying at the Vistana, & by Tuesday everyone in my family 18 will be down & ready for Wednesday. Lobster for Thanksgiving this year

Brandon thinking to himself...DIS, what is DIS? I know I have heard of them?

I am sure he is having a blast. Day after tomorrow is the big day for him.

I cannot believe all you get when you are bumped on Delta. That must have been so much fun.

We are not going to the parks before...I was up for it but it is a little too much for the 2 year olds.

I am going to get to the excursions desk as soon as I can. Hopefully we will get the dolphins...but I will call to make sure. Do you think the CM will actually tell me that they hold a few spots?

That is the best way to describe the shirts. I was in NYC for the day which started by leaving my house at 4:00 am and 22 hours later I was home. Let’s just say we flew through that bad storm that hit the east coast last night and I don’t want an experience like that again any time soon.
When I called home the kids told me a box arrived – they opened it while I was on the phone. They were so excited when they saw them. Now they want to wear them to school Monday before we leave.
We will wear Wed. when we go to the ship. So we will have them on in the cruise terminal and we plan on getting there early. If any one is there early and sees us fellow DDC’s we can have a pre-boarding meet in the terminal. We will be the family of four doing the DDC shuffle wearing a new DCC Thanksgiving cruise.

That is so great. I really thought they turned out pretty nice, but to hear all you guys rave about them is wonderful. Unfortunately, I have sent ours to The Perfect Gift to have them put in gift baskets to be in the rooms when we arrive or I would be wearing mine as well. But I will definitely know who to look for in the Port.

We will be wearing ours too and should be at the terminal early. We have a 10am shuttle reserved from the Radisson...Also family of 4...Look for us!!!!
