Excellent! Nice, long, satisfying update!

(psst...in the spirit of telling a friend her slip is showing, a couple of your pics aren't what you said they were. They seem to be duplicates of ones in the same post. I realize this is due to being sleep deprived when you posted this. Hope that helps!)

I'm amazed your kids were still going at the closing! Wow, little Energizer bunnies they are! LOL

Looking forward to more!
Thanks Sarah! Heather usually proof reads for me after I post to tell me these things! I think I got them all fixed now!

My kids are nightowls, it doesn't usually matter how early I drag them out of bed, they don't go to bed early!

Love the update...Kinda creepy that you turn into a ghost after hours though!!! :lmao: Or maybe you're one of those character from Kingdom Keepers...if you haven't read this book...you need to check it out. It's technically a "young adult" book but trust me...you'll never look at IASW the same ever again

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Kingdom_Keepers

I like to think that my diet was working too well!!!! Look, I was practically invisible!!! I wish I would have kept the weight off AFTER we got home though!!!
Another great installment. I have never seen Chef Mcikey's so crowded! We always go at 7 am and there is no one there! They really should have given ya'll some more time with the characters.

DD4 was looking at the girls riding on the monorail and said "They look like movie stars!" She is so funny!

I want to comment on more but I am operating on 1 1/2 hours of sleep and I have to go back to work in 15 minutes.
I've never seen Chef Mickey's not crowded! Our first reservations were for 7AM, but we didn't think we could really get there that early, so thankfully we were able to get a later reservation!

Movie stars!! Well, yes, yes we are!

.

Teresa, Thanks for letting me know what patterns you used. The outfit was so cute. I added them to my little wish list:thumbsup2

I loved how cute the girls looked in their matching shorts and your mom of course. Then you and brian and Corey matching was great!

Oh and all the pics by the castle! Love them I have been saying since we decided to go back that s the one thing WE HAVE to do is have lots of pictures by the castle! There is just something about the castle that chokes me up.

Great TR!
No problem!!!

They did look adorable in their shirts, didn't they!
Brian, me and Corey wore our outfits from last year, the girls had dresses to match too. Mine was suppose to be a dress, but I never liked the way it fit, so I cut it off and made a skirt.

Mom bought you and Brian food at the Noodle Station, too. I remember because she even gave you her credit card!!!!

Actually, you guys went, and we followed later, you guys had your food when we showed up. Brian went up to get something, a drink maybe? And then Mom gave me her credit card, and told me to tell Brian that he could get a meal. So, she did buy Brian something. She bought the chicken nuggest for all the kids to share. We ate our peanut butter and jelly though, so we really didn't need her to buy us all a meal. I had an ice water.

I love the way you are commenting on everything!!! That is really fun to read!

DS6 walked up as I was looking at your pictures of the kids with Zurg...he was very concernec that anyone would lock thier children up with Zurg!:lmao: I mean he is the bad guy!

I love the late night pictures! They are all sooo sweet and you all look so happy. So wonderful! What a great family you have!:goodvibes
Sorry to disturb your son!!! :rotfl:

The night pictures are pretty cool! We did that at MGM last year too, and had such a good time getting them taken! Maybe I should write a trip report from last year after I finish this one!!! :rotfl2:

Teresa awesome update. I totally agree that you should get equal time with the characters as a person, not as a group. Loved all the family pictures too. That's awesome that all of you can go together. I could never go with my SIL (she would drive me nuts), my brother yes but not his wife (boy I hope she never reads, shhh I won't tell her).
Thank you! I'm glad that you agree about the characters! :thumbsup2 I should post my chart here that I put in the comments of Heather's trip report!

We have fun together!!! Now, I would NEVER do this with most of Brian's side of the family!!! And, frankly, I doubt HE would want to go with most of his side either! :rotfl: (and, if you happen to BE Brian's family, I am sure that YOU are the one person that Brian would be THRILLED to take a vacation with!)

What a great magic kingdom day! I LOVE those pictures of you in front of the castle at night. I am going to try to remember to do some of those. What a sweet family you have. =)

Thank you!!! We like each other ok!

You have to tell me, what is the "Kiss Goodnight" you wrote about. We always stay after the fireworks but I've never heard of this. Also, where do you see Mr. Toad giving the deed to Owl? I look but haven't seen it. Thanks for the info and love your trip report!

From what I've heard, it is right before they turn the lights off to the castle, Mickey comes over and wishes everyone a good night, I think. I've never actually stayed that long though, so I've never seen it! I think we were pretty close with the guy telling us good night at the end of our day though!

I love the picture of Tessa and Lydia on the monorail! Lily is on my lap telling me she wants mouse ears like Lydia's. Wow you can twirl napkins and take photos simultaneously! You are talented girl! I love the photo of Brian and Henry having fun.

:rotfl2: you never cease to cracky me up! I love big thunder mountain! So when I go to Disneyworld for my birthday in February, does that mean I can wear a birthday pin for my whole trip? :dance3: Tessa looks like she's getting brain freeze from her popsicle. That is so sweet that Corey let the girls "make him sick" I love the pictures of the family acting silly. We have lots of pictures like that too. One time we were driving to Disneyland and we ran out of gas in the Nevada desert. My dad had to hitchhike to Vegas so while we were waiting we took a ton of "dying of thirst in the desert" photos  I have never done the "park after hours" that is so cool! The pictures are great! I love the kissy ones, although David kissing Barbara in his Goofy hat makes me laugh. I absolutely love the photos of you, Brian and the kids!

I'm glad you are enjoying it!!!! Your Dad hitchiked to Vegas??? I want to see those dying of thirst pictures!!!

I love love love that you did the math on the character interaction time! That is priceless!!!!!:lmao:

Your mom and Dad must be the cutest couple that ever existed! Your whole family is just darling in fact!

Can't wait for more.

I love that you did the character interaction math too! What a nice teenager Corey is - we could all only wish to be so lucky when our kids grow up!

I have to say that I have a brother so I used to always wish to someday have sister-in-laws that I would be close to - like best friends/sisters. Let's just say that my wish did not come true. You all are very lucky!

I just started reading your tr and love it.
Off to read more!
Thanks!!!

I'm bit obsessive over some things!! LOL! When I noticed in my pictures that I could see how long the characters were at the other table, I had to type it all down, then break it down by person, I also broke it down per kid, but I thought you woud definetely think I was nuts if I posted that too!!!! :rolleyes1

Glad you appreciate my obsessiveness!!!! :rotfl2:

Thanks, I kinda like that boy myself!!!

Aww, I'm sorry you don't have a sister or sister-in-law to be close too! I hit it pretty good on both those categories!

I was wondering how much interaction per kid we got in comparison to the table behind us, too. :rotfl: 'Cuz I didn't see Minniei interacting with anyone but that one little girl. So, I'm thinking it might be 2 minutes per kid at that table and 10 seconds/kid at ours. But, you can do the math. ;)

You 2 are CRAZY! :crazy2:  Too funny!!:lmao:

I read your installment, but I am going to wait until Megan can look at with me to comment. I find that she is much wittier than I am.

Are you working on the next day yet? Would that day happen to be with some DIS friends? :rolleyes1

TeresaJoy!!! I finally caught up!! First off, LOVE LOVE LOVE that Lydia got her some Donald Duck time!!! Way to go girl!!!

I got sniffly looking at the picture of Barbara holding up her arms and enjoying Splash Mountain for all it's worth!! I hope she's doing well!!

Sally loved seeing Lydia on Splash Mountain...she was impressed. Sally still worries about "the big hills" so I couldn't help but add that Miss Lyddy is only 5!

Arminda sure does look like you!!! All your kids do. I loved the family pictures of y'all...and the one of you and David grossing out over mom and dad smooching!!!

Can't wait for more!!!

:goodvibes

You went and made me get all sniffly about Barbara too!!!! She is really doing fantastic!!! It's shocking how good she is really! She goes to her doctor in a few weeks to discuss her family history, but I'm not sure what that is going to do. She seems really well adjusted to everything that has happened to her in the last few months. Way more than I would be, that's for sure! I'm getting all teary thinking about how much I love her! Oh goodness MissCammie, what you trying to do to me!!

Yes, look at my little baby, all alone on Splash Mountain with a man who obviusly assumes that just because she is tall enough to ride Splash Mountain, she does not need any sort of parental restraint devices!!!! :scared1:

Not many people think my kids look like me, so thank you!!! I like to think they do!

Ok, onto the next installment....

We woke up and spent much of the morning looking at our Photopass pictures online. I know, thrill a minute this trip report, THRILL A MINUTE! We were meeting Stephanie and her gang at 2:00, at Whispering Canyon, as I recall. We were also planning on doing the campfire at Fort Wilderness that night.

At one point, we saw this out the back window of the house!
S6300299.JPG

S6300300.JPG

It looked pretty cool!

Since David and Barbara would only be staying a week in Florida, they decided to skip Whispering Canyon and go to a park. David and Barbara planned to meet up with us over at Ft. Wilderness so that Mom and Dad could drive them home. Barbara had Mom's cell phone with her, so they could get in touch with us. Mom had a time set up to call David and Barbara to see how they were doing. David looked online to see how he should get over to Ft. Wilderness from Epcot. He asked me how late we would be there, and I told him that there was a movie after the campfire, but I wasn't sure we were staying for that. He said he'd see us later, and Mom and Dad dropped them off at Epcot. Mom and Dad were then going to meet us at Whispering Canyon for supper.

So, we messed around awhile until it was time to go. Heather wanted to know where Whispering Canyon Cafe was, so I told her it was at the Wilderness Lodge. We were all pretty excited to be meeting Stephanie, Megan and Jacob!!!

Since it was a special day, Lydia wanted to wear something extra nice, so she told me she wanted to wear her Storybook Ariel outfit that a fellow Diser, Tnmom25 (Deann) made her. So, we all get ready and set off!

As we were driving, I noticed that there weren't actually any signs that SAID "Wilderness Lodge", so I was pretty worried that Heather would not be able to find it! When I got inside the hotel, Mom
IMG_1306.JPG

and Dad
S6300302.JPG

were already there.

Mom told me that she had called Heather and told her how to find the hotel. I was relieved! That didn't stop us from worrying that she wouldn't be able to find it though!

S6300305.JPG

Let's just say Heather and Henry are not known for their directional skills!

But, Heather made it not long after we got there. We looked around a little bit
S6300304.JPG

IMG_1309.JPG

When Brian and I dream about actually staying on property, we both dream about staying here! Someday, maybe, someday!

Then, we settled into the comfy chairs and waited a bit
IMG_1318.JPG

IMG_1314.JPG

Before we knew it, Heather said, "There's Steph!" And, by golly, there she was, with Megan and Jacob, in the flesh!!! We went over and gave some hugs, and then of course, we had to pose for some pictures!
DSC08465.JPG

Isn't she just the cutest!

Stephanie had made Megan this adorable outfit just for us!!!
DSC08502.JPG

(ok, this was taken later in the day, but pretend you don't know that!)

We thought she looked mighty cute!!!

Jacob had on a cute appliqued t-shirt, which, as he told us, "showed his armpits" as he told us!
IMG_1323.JPG

And as you can see, Steph has on an adorable appliqued Mickey shirt too! I was feeling a little under Disdressed! I had planned on making the girls matching cow print skirts, but I got a horrible backache right before we left, and only got Arminda's done.

After introductions were said, I went up to the podium to check us in.
IMG_1313.JPG

We were given a beeper, and had to wait quite awhile, considering the restaurant was practically empty.

6.gif

The kids amused themselves with the massive amounts of Lincoln Logs at the play table.
S6300312.JPG

S6300311.JPG

While we were waiting, they had a stick pony parade around the restaurant, so the kids all grabbed a pony and started galloping!!!
Little Sawyer:

Arminda, who managed to ride the stick horse in a skirt without embarrassing herself or me:
DSC08476.JPG

Take notice of the people at the table behind Arminda, they had a son who we would come to know as "Bubba"

Lydia and Tessa with another random child in between them:
DSC08477.JPG

I was this close to joining in myself, but didn't want to Steph to get scared and run off too soon!

When the beeper went off, Me, Steph, Heather, Megan, Lydia, Tessa, and Jacob (and possibly Sawyer) sat at one table, and they sat everyone else at a table nest to us. We started chatting right away, and then our hostess came over, and told us that we would have to sit with whoever we were sharing a check with, because they had put two different waiters in charge of our one party. (one at one table, one at the other) Heather and I politely told her that no, we were not going to move. Seriously, I have NEVER been to a restaurant where they told you who you had to sit by! The hostess wasn't happy about that, and told us that we would have to split our parties into two different checks. Whatever lady....

While we were waiting for our food, one of the waitresses decided to set Arminda up with the aforementioned "Bubba". If you've ever been to Whispering Canyon Cafe, you know, that there is NO Whispering that takes place in there!!! So, she was quite loud about it, and kept trying to get Arminda to go over to say hi to this boy! Arminda pretended to get upset about the whole thing, but I could see that she was really loving it! At one point, Arminda actually RAN out of the restaurant! Heather went to see where she went.

When Heather came back, she told me that she thought Arminda was actually quite upset. When Arminda didn't come back, Jacob told me that he thought he should go see where she went and bring her back.

What a sweetheart!!!

I told him I would go with him. We found Arminda, and by the look on her face, I could see that she was ok, but being quite dramatic about the whole thing, in traditional Arminda fashion! Jacob decided that he and Arminda should go back into the restaurant one way, and that I would go another way to distract the waitress! The plan worked quite well actually!

And, I talked to Arminda about the incident the other day, and she told me that she had actually liked being teased by the waitress, but she didn't want Jacob to think she had a boyfriend......

So, we went back inside and ordered our meal. Last year I had the skillet and hated it. So, I wasn't going to order that again. However, when I noticed the price was actually lower than I remembered, I decided to try it again. I don't know what the girls had, but I'm betting it was mac and cheese, because that is what they ALWAYS order at a restaurant!

While we were chatting, and chasing Arminda at our table, apparently Corey was ordering lots to drink at the other table, because when I looked over at him, he had a HUGE Mason jar filled with Cherry Coke in front of him and he was laughing!

S6300315.JPG

The little girls were coloring and giggling down at their end of the table, and Arminda was trying to not make eye contact with "Bubba" or the waitress at our end!
Some random table pictures:
S6300314.JPG

DSCF3076.JPG

They brought out the skillet and it was really good this time! I might even order that again. Over at the other table, my boys had also ordered the skillet. And, apparently their waitress told the rest of the table that they could share it too! (I think it might have only been Henry that didn't order it though)Which I thought was pretty cool. When Heather and Stephanie got their food, which was a barbecue sandwich or some such thing, Heather commented that her bun was quite soggy. Steph said hers was as well. They should have gotten the skillet! I probably shouldn't have talked about how much I didn't like the skillet before we ordered....

When the waiter came to check on us, I told him that Heather had a soggy bun. Well, of course he latched right onto that one, and started yelling around "Soggy buns! We have SOGGY buns here!!!!" Which, everyone but Heather thought was quite funny!!! Henry replied that she didn't have soggy buns when he married her....Heather told him to shut up (yeah, she says shut up, just listen to he at the end of her Wishes video!). We were having a good time! Well, probably everyone except for Heather that is!!!

2.gif

(Ok, no one ordered pizza, but I just thought that smiley was too cool not to use it!)

And, since Arminda was wearing her birthday pin, she got a free dessert. Tessa decided that she ought to start telling everyone that it wasn't really Arminda's birthday anymore, but not one single person the entire two weeks seemed to care. Poor Tessa...

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and Lydia is planning on us going back there again next year! I think it is more fun when the restaurant is more crowded though. Be warned, this is not a place you go for a nice quiet meal!

After eating, we decided that we would head over to the Magic Kingdom for awhile. But, first of course, there were some potty breaks to be taken! While that was going on, some of us roamed about some more:
IMG_1335.JPG

Henry decided that instead of joining us at Magic Kingdom, he would take Sawyer back home. So, we all gave him our doggy bags and bid him farewell. Brian was really worried that he might not be able to make it back to the house, and suggested he go with him. Yeah, nice try Brian!

We then headed down to the bus stop and started waiting for the bus.
S6300318.JPG

While we were waiting, we talked and decided that none of us were really up to a late night of sitting at the campfire. And, since none of the other Disboutiquers were planning on going either, we decided we would just skip it this time.

The girls though, decided they would have their own little campfire.

DSC08481.JPG

S6300325.JPG

DSC08484.JPG

S6300319.JPG

S6300323.JPG

After we waited what seemed like an hour or two, Lydia decided she really had to go to the bathroom (you would think it would have been Corey after drinking all that pop!) so, I rushed her back inside, sure that the bus would come while we were gone! But, low and behold, when we got back, there was STILL no bus!!! Buses to Epcot came and went and came again...I don't know how many buses we saw to Animal Kingdom and the water parks, but they were coming with some frequency! MGM buses came...and went.. I think every bus to every place in the park came and went at least TWICE while we waited!!!

Brian found a broom, and began sweeping the sidewalk, weird, I didn't know he knew how to use a broom...
S6300324.JPG

Arminda didn't see Jacob, so she thought she better go looking for him
S6300322.JPG

Then, FINALLY!!! the MAGIC KINGDOM bus came!!!
11.gif

I went up and kissed it!!!
25.gif

(not really, but I was thinking about it!)
Note to self, when we DO end up staying at our dream resort, bring our own car!

Arminda and Jacob hoped into the back of the bus, and the little girls all sat together.
Then, Jacob suddenly seemed to think twice about sitting by a girl, and he jumped up and moved! Poor Arminda....

The girls were talking and laughing away. Megan is quite the little talker! She's so cute! Jacob was still being quite quiet at this point!

Heather and I were getting to know Stephanie and the rest of our party was fending for themselves!

Heather and I told Mom that she should call Barbara
16.gif

to let her know that we weren't going to the campfire.
1.gif

She tried to get hold of them several times, but wasn't able to, so she thought she'd wait for them to call at 5:30, when they had planned on calling each other.

After going in the park, we decided to ride on Pooh, but the line was long, so we got us some Fastpasses, and again received the Philharmagic bonus Fastpasses with it. While waiting for our Fastpass time, we went over to ride on Buzz Lightyear.
I tried to take a picture of Lydia and Megan holding hands while we were waiting in line, but it didn't turn out very good. I wish it had, because they looked so cute!
IMG_1347.JPG

I am usually better at this than I was on this trip. I certainly didn't break any high scores!! But, it sure is a fun ride.

IMG_1349.JPG

(If you had wings had wings had wings.....)

Here's Mom and Dad:

IMG_1348.JPG

Are they cute or what!

Jacob and Corey rode together.

Jacob was shocked and amazed at Corey's Z shooting skillz!
DSC08489.JPG

I think he was starting to loosen up..

Heather rode with Stephanie
IMG_1347.JPG

They were a Z shooting Diser machine!
And, I think the little girls all rode together.

After the ride, the children were once again imprisoned with the evil emperor Zurg! HOW does this keep happening to them!!!!

Feeling the Disney magic they were!

Next up was It's a Small World.
2.gif

The kids were having a wonderful time with each other. They got along really well! This time, Arminda sat by her new friend, who happens to be a boy, but is NOT her boyfriend, although she wouldn't mind marrying him someday when they are grown up, because he is really nice and very cute and he DOES live in Florida....

Is Jacob REALLY scared of IASW!??
DSC08494.JPG

Arminda seems impressed with his antics!!!
DSC08493.JPG

While riding, Stephanie noticed that the bells of one of the bell ringers had fallen off, and was just sitting there! Really, where is the maintenance!?!

We hopped off and then bounced on over to the Pooh ride!

Ok, I am going to admit it, the Pooh ride is NOT one of my favorites. I don't know why, I love Pooh and Eeyore, but something about this ride just feels like I'm in a big room riding on a little track.

What?

You say that is exactly what I'm doing??

Well, that explains it then!!!

I do like the bouncing part and the floating parts though, that is fun. I just don't like to see the ceiling, or the track...but I digress... I'm also not sure whey there is ALWAYS such a long wait for this one, I don't quite get it...

My kids love it though, so I always try to make sure we make it on here once a trip, so this was a big bonus for them! Twice in one trip!

Tessa trying to move in on Arminda's not-a-boyfriend-although-she-is-not-apposed-to-marrying-him-someday friend, while Arminda's back was turned!
DSC08495.JPG

Ha! Let Arminda get all the free stuff, she's got Jacob!

What in the world did Tessa just see!?
DSC08497.JPG

Lydia looks a little like a deer stuck in the headlights! And,there is Jacob playing it all cool!

DSC08498.JPG

Apparently either Corey mistakenly thought he was on Space Mountain, or he is tyring to air out his armpits. Poor Megan, see her trying to lean away?!

We then all wanted to go into Mickey's Philharmagic. Well, everyone but Megan that is. It had scared her in the past, but she decided to be brave and go in it with us. Thanks Megan!
4.gif

I'm guessing Arminda sat by Jacob again, they were becoming good friends!!!

Since Carousel of Progress was open, we decided to make a trip on into there! I love this ride, but I MUCH prefer the song they use to sing!!!

"Now is the time, now is the time, now is the best time of our lives...."

In the final, futuristic scene, Stephanie was QUITE impressed with the fancy graphics on the video game!!!
2.gif

And, we were all impressed with the late 80's early 90s fashions that the family wears at the end!!!
Carousel_of_Progress_VR_paleofuture_paleo-future.jpg

We were wondering if Disney has a special shop where they buy these things!!!! Seriously, will they EVER update this!!!

Hey, I just had a brilliant idea!!! I think the Disboutiquers should sew these poor people some new clothes!!! Come on guys, what do you say!?!

Mom was still trying to get hold of David and Barbara on the cell phone, but it just kept ringing. It was about 7:00PM, since they had planned on meeting us at Ft. Wilderness for the campfire, and we had told them we would be there at 7:30, Mom and Dad decided to head on over there to meet up with them.

The rest of us decided to get a bite to eat over at the poor man's Garden Grill, as Corey likes to call the restaurant that overlooks IASW (don't you love how I don't have a clue what any restaurant is called!) We sat and talked awhile and Arminda got another free dessert.....

It was getting late, and the kids were getting tired, so we decided to call it a night and head on home. Heather and I had fun talking to Stephanie at the bus stop, and the kids had fun playing around.

DSC08499.JPG

The girls all posed for us and did "The Megan"
DSC08501.JPG

Tessa was thrilled to be doing The Megan WITH Megan!

Arminda and Jacob were busy discussing something until I tried to take their picture.
DSC08505.JPG

Look at the cute looks on their faces though!
DSC08504.JPG

And, as you might be able to see, Lydia was going into super hyper mode!
DSC08502.JPG

Stephanie and I talked about the school the kids were missing, and I told Jacob and Stephanie that Arminda was going to miss her class field trip to the U.P. because we were in Florida.

Jacob looked at me like I had two heads.

"The WHAT?!?!?"

"The UP." I repeated, but what I'm pretty sure he heard was "The YOU PEE"

"What is that?"

"The Upper Peninsula of Michigan, you know, where Mackinaw Island is?"

"OHH!!!" he replied, and looked a bit relieved!

Now, who knew that UP wasn't a widely used term in the United States???

"Say Yah to dah UP, eh!" (people from the UP have VERY different accents from the rest of the country!)

When we got on the bus, Lydia had a mini major meltdown about the seating arrangements. Apparently, she wanted to sit by both Megan AND Tessa, but Megan had promised to sit by Tessa... Not sure how it got straightened out, but I do know Lydia was quickly losing control, so Brian went to sit by her. I think Megan had Lydia sit between her and Tessa. Megan did tell Tessa that she would sit by her the next day on the bus. It was kind of sad, because we didn't have plans to meet up the next day. :(

While we were on the bus, around 8:30 or so, my Mom called Heather on her cell phone. They did not see David and Barbara at the campfire, so they were getting on the bus to the Contemporary (that's where they had dropped David and Barbara off in the morning, apparently). Heather tried to talk them into staying awhile longer, since David and Barbara had thought we were going to be there until at least 9:00. But, Mom and Dad got on the bus to the Contemporary anyway. Not surprisingly, when they got to the Contemporary, David and Barbara were not there, since that is not where they had planned on meeting us. It seems like Mom called a few more times too, and Heather kept telling her to just wait for David and Barbara at the campfire.

When we got back to the Wilderness Lodge, Stephanie, me and Heather were saying our good-byes. The kids were running around playing.

We got the kids calmed down, and started saying our good-byes, and then I noticed Lydia and Brian were gone, apparently Brian had decided that this was a good time to take Lydia outside for a walk!

I KNEW there would be much crying and hysterics if Lydia didn't get to tell her new friend good-bye, so I set off to find them! It didn't take too long, but I knew everyone else was getting very tired, and wanted to get some rest!

So, the girls all hugged, and I believe Jacob and Arminda shook hands, and we bid Steph and co. good-bye. It had been so much fun to meet up with them! I'm so glad we got to do that!

When we got home, Heather came over to our house to tell me that Mom and Dad were still looking for David and Barbara. I told her she should call Mom and Dad and tell them to let security know that they had lost someone, in case David and Barbara had told someone too, and maybe they could help them meet up. We still couldn't figure out what happened with the cell phone Barbara had though! Heather told me that Dad had told her "David is lost forever!" Apparently, Arminda isn't the only one in the family with a flare for dramatics!!!

I tried to stay up until everyone got home safely, but I was just too tired and went to bed. I heard everyone come in around 1AM.

When I got up in the morning, I got the story of what had happened from David and Mom. Apparently, Barbara had dropped and broke the cell phone early on in the day, so she had been very upset about that all day (that little tidbit about her being upset was from Casey!) David said that they had arrived at the campfire right about 8:30 and didn't see anyone, so they stuck around for awhile waiting for us. I'm not sure where they went when no one showed up but I think they did go back to the Contemporary. Then, I think they went back to the Contemporary, as Mom and Dad left to go to the Magic Kingdom....It went back and forth quite awhile... Barbara and David did end up telling a security guard what was going on, but none of them knew that Mom and Dad were looking too. Just when David had decided they were going to get a hotel for the night, and meet up with us at Animal Kingdom in the morning, Mom and Dad showed up where they were (Magic Kingdom, I think?). Everyone was so relieved!!! Of course, Heather and I couldn't help but think that if they had just listened to us they would have been home by 9:00, but we aren't one to bring that sort of thing up..... (but, we really did want everyone to know that we were, once again, right...)

Next up: We go to Mom's Favorite Park! Animal Kingdom!

The official spelling is Yoopers!

Seriously!

Good for your Dad! :thumbsup2

Does he know what Yoopers call people who live in the Lower Penninsula??

Trolls!

You know, because we live under the bridge!

Great update!! I love to hear about Dis meets!!! Good to see that David and co was found!!! Can't wait to hear more!!

Sounds like a great DIS meet.

We waited at the Contemporary for a bus to DTD for over 1/2 an hour.

So I'm not overly impressed with the bus service at the Deluxes.

That said...I didn't know there WAS a bus from the Wilderness Lodge to MK.

I thought you had to ride the boat.

I know at Ft. Wilderness you have to ride the boat, and it also stops at the Wilderness Lodge.

So that might be the reason buses to MK are few and far between.

:confused3

Anyway, glad you found David. I HATE when people get lost and you spend all that time looking for each other. Ugh.

Great update, as usual!
