Doorway to Dreams incentive question.....

I have to be in Chicago this weekend. I was thinking if I had time I would go over to the DVC store.
What are the incentives they are offering for new buyers (not adding on). Are they the same as calling Disney direct.
I know some had gotten developers points and money off, but I think it is just for those adding on?
Anyone know????

We were new to DVC as of last weekend. The incentives they offered were:

$8.00 off per point at AKL
OR
$10.00 off per point at SSR
OR
Double devleoper points - 320 - which needed to be used by next August and could be booked at the 7 month window.

I had a question and called DVC in Florida and got the impression the incentives were all the same.

It is a nice store with the 2BR AKV room model. If possible, try to visit anyway. As far as new buyers, I believe the incentives are the same as from Florida. The incentive is either $8 off AKV/$10 off SSR OR double developer points. (if you buy 160, you receive an additional 320 points to use within 12 months). I have seen where some new buyers received gift certificates to the mall and they may also waive the closing costs as they did with add-ons (not sure so you will need to check into this).
