Doorway to Dreams are you going October 17 th

Just curious if anyone here is planning on going to the Grand Opening to Doorway to Dreams on October 17 th . from the rumor mill Mickey and Deevee might be attending that day . Hope to see more charecters too .
But most of all as long as the magic is there it will be alot of fun .

I just recieved a postcard today telling that it is going to be 10 am - 8 pm at macy's centre court .
also said was mickey and minnie and other disney charecters
A live DJ
and fun activities for the whole family .
hope to be able to say hi to some DISer's there .

i cannot wait we went to the pre opening and that was soo much fun and this is next on my agender.

We also got the invite in the mail, but it's a 2+ hour drive for us. Plus sounds like the event is in the middle of the mall and open to everyone, so doesn't so so special and we're passing.

from the invite i'm thinking believe it or not it is not in the middle it is either in front of the disney store lol or on the level above it . and yes it will be in the open for anyone to join in too .

I will probably be going but If the party is near Macy's then it is right outside the Disney Store and not near the actual DVC showroom, that is actually near the Nordstrom's. The area near the DVC showroom is much smaller.

the post card said near the macy's rountunda so i'm thinking that is where they have most os the special things when they come to rooservelt field mall right outside the disney store.

I'm hoping to be there as long as I don't have to work.

i hope to be able to say Hi to both of you while i'm there it should be really fun .
