Does anyone here have pics of their door signs? I thought this might be a neat idea to do since this will be out first cruise, and we are setting sail on my husband's birthday. :cheer2:

I don't have the pics, but our cabin was decorated when we arrived with the Bon Voyage and we had the dessert tray and a cake that was so sweet. Our 9 year old thought that was the greatest thing and definately worth the extra effort.

I'm doing the same thing for my husband except with the Birthday theme.
I had seen others here posting about door signs to signify that they were posters here, and I thought it would be neat to annouce my hubby's b-day on there as well. I just wasn't sure what everyone else's looks like. Guess I needed to seem others people's work so I could get my own ideas.

UGAFan,
I don't have any door signs to show you, but I just wanted to say I love your screen name! My husband is a bigtime UGA fan, and our 17 year old would love to go to school there.
Go Dawgs!

I just made the sign below to put on our cabin door on the Magic during our very special 4 day cruise starting January 4th. My DW and I will be celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary a little early this year. My DW doesn't know anything about this sign and won't see it until it is on our cabin door next Tuesday. It's a good thing she doesn't read the boards!!!

Where have these 30 years gone???

Yea Man, they are blue suede platform shoes no less!!! Gotta love the 70's, LOL!!!

I owned the shoes before even renting my tux!!!

Oh andy you are a romantic at heart

What can I say, I was born in Virginia, not to far from Virginia Beach actually!!! At one time I even had a "Virginia is for Lovers" bumpersticker on my car.

Here is our door sign. Please let me know if you cannot view it!

Can't belive I'll say this to a UGA fan after all the beatings we've taken from you in the past few years....
but I loved the Purdue cutouts that I added to my doors. Maybe you could make some of that drooling K-9 of yours! :D
I think on our next cruise, I will personalize Disney cutouts for each person.

Disneybride, is that one of the paint chips from HD? It looks bigger for some reason. How did you print on it?

Those are great door signs. I want to make one for our cruise next week -- 1/6/05 Wonder. How did you get the Disney font? I'd love to use that for my sign.

Hey Andy,

Love the then and now photos. Looks like you and dh may have worn the same tux. Dh wore that tux to his prom, not with me though. We didn't know each other then. TEE HEE! :cool2:

Enjoy the anniversary cruise.

I know this is going to sound silly, but how do you do this? I mean, how do you get the DCL to put these on your cabin door? I think that's sooooo great! We are planning a cruise for October 2006 and this would be great. The paint chip from HD, did you enlarge it? I couldn't download that link you posted.

Do you have to write into the Cruise Line to have them do it? Thanks for all your help....

You print the signs on magnetic sheets. The doors are metal.

You do not have to write; they don't care as long as it does not damage the door
