Door Magnets - Where to find material?

After seeing all the posts and pics about magents, I want to take a crack at making some for our 1/24/04 MAGIC cruise. Verandah Man - (or others who have done this) where did you get the magnet material, and did you have problems w/color printing? BTW - your magnets/work looked great!

I finally found mine at walmart in the stationary/school supplies section with the computer papers.

For the magnets I did, I had used Invent-it.com, the same company I bought my t-shirt transfers from, but they have since gone out of business. I had no problem whatsoever printing them off, it was just like printing off a photo. Have fun and experiment!!!

Andy - your stuff really looked good. As a first time DCL guy, your posts and experiences have been very fun and informative. DW and I are already bitten by the DCL bug, and the closer we get, the more we're getting into it (you'd think we were the kids!!).

I am trying to make up magnets for our cabin door also, I found magnets at Staples here. I looked at our Walmart but they must have been out.

Office Max, Office Depot, and even some of the grocery stores and Target in their school/office supply sections.
After you've designed your picture, you put one sheet at a time in your printer, just like regular paper, and print! They are so easy, and so much fun!

Are you kidding, I was the most excited one in the house about our cruise this past August. I think my niece came in a close second behind me. I'm already looking forward for next August!!!
