I have 4 small door decorations ready to go for my Dream cruise in 10 days. I printed them off , in regular paper not heavy card stock, and had them laminated at my school. I thought I remembered seeing that the magnet paper was not strong enough for the doors (non-concierge). My other choice is some small magnets I have that I can hot glue on the back. Anyone have experience with this and want to tell me what works? It's getting down to crunch time! :)

I have never used magnet paper instead I buy a roll of magnet strips (adhesive backing); you can get it at Michael's. Then I usually just cut off the length I need, attach to my door decorations and once I am on the ship, adhere to the door. Have not had a problem in all the times I have done this; have new ones to put up this Sunday. Good Luck!

I make magnets printed on regular Avery magnetic paper all the time and they stick to the doors just fine on all four ships. Before we figured out how to print on magnetic paper I did the same as you but used peel and stick magnet strips onto laminated paper rather than hot glue. In my experience, the magnets which fit as flush to the door surface as possible are the least likely to fall off.
