The more I look at this board the more designed items I want to bring on my trip. All of you talented DISigners have created a monster! I was wondering if a lot of people put magnets on the outside of their doors at WDW? I was looking at some fabulous designs last night but they were all geared to the cruises. It will just be my husband and myself but I still thought it could be fun, especially since we are celebrating our fifth anniversary, my first Disney trip, and my husbands belated 40th birthday. I have no idea what usually goes on the door magnets at WDW or who designs them. Do the magnets tend to grow legs and walk? I'll be staying at Pop Century so the doors are outside as opposed to some of the other fancier hotels where they are indoors. I didn't know if that makes a difference. Also I saw magnet paper someone mentioned, on Amazon. If it rains since the doors open to the outside will the magnet get ruined? Would it be better to laminate the image and add sticky magnets? Any other cheap, easy ways to decorate our door or window without adding too much bulk to our luggage? Thank you all so much!

Hi Hon
This board can be addictive, not to mention expensive in ink costs,;)
I usually choose a theme and then go with it--one year my door was covered "Spring-St patricks day" one year I covered the door in Natalie's star characters,,and my fav was doing the whole door with Dolly's mickey head balloons.
Not sure what to do this year but I am thinking on it.

Hugs Mel
who thinks half the fun of a Disney trip is planning it!

P.S i've seen alot of windows at Pop decorated--just use stickey tac as it doesn't mark up the window.

Actually just a quick add on to iloveeliot qustions - how would you decorate a door that is inside a hallway? We are staying at AKV and want to do our door but I realized I can't do window clings as I have done in the past.

Thanks for any suggestions! :goodvibes

Thanks for your response Mel. A theme is a great idea. I discussed it with my husband and we've decided to put a sign in the middle of the door saying something about it being our anniversary (I've seen several that I like I just have to pick one). Then around the sign I'm going to put up all different Disney couples. It should be a fun project! Thanks again.
