Door Decorations

My friends are travelling to DLP with my god daughter for her first Disney experience at the end of the week

I was wandering if its common to decorate the hotel door with magnetic decorations like on the Disney Cruises?? I wanted to make them some magnets, but no good if they can't use them!

I've never seen any decorated doors in hotels, in fact are the doors in hotels magnetic?
