Door decorations at Disneyland Hotel?

I love decorating my door on Disney cruises. I'll be staying at the Disneyland Hotel in a few weeks. Are the doors made of metal so I can put magnets on them?

Any other way to decorate them without damaging the door?

I have been travelling to Disneyland since 1982. I see by your signature you have been even more times than me. Not once in all my trips onsite or off have I ever seen a decorated door out here. You may want to contact the hotel directly about your question.

I saw a door decorated for the first time this year. It was at the Grand CA. It was during the marathon and it looked like some sort of package deal. It wasn't a homemade set up. It was stuff from the hotel, like a celebration package or something. I don't think the doors are metal at DLH. They aren't at GC.

aww I knew right away that you either did wdw or the cruise ...yeah unfortunately as drag n' fly said, nobody really does it out here but that doesnt mean you cant...it would be nice to start getting it going out here!!

I was thinking of doing the same thing. We've been on the cruise many times and love decorating our door and when we go to WDW we decorate our window, but I'm not sure how to make it work out here since the doors aren't metal and our window would be too high to see the decorations.

I don't think you can tape anything to the door. I'm pretty sure you cant at WDW either.

The DL hotels are closer to WDW deluxes where I think door decor is not as welcomed.

What a fun idea though! We stay across the street though, and it wouldn't work on our door, but it's a fun idea. When I take my two younger ones in June I am going to decorate the room for my DS's 5th birthday. I think he'll be excited about that.

We didn't see any decorated doors at the DLH--and with the hotel being freshly redone, you would need to be very careful with decorating your door.
