Dooney & Burke, cheaper in Disney World?

Don't know if this was asked before, but is it cheaper and better to wait until I get to Disney to get a Dooney bag? There is a special(so they say) at Disney Store right now. Does anyone have any experience with this? I don't know if it is really a special or it will be same price when we are there and I can pick my own out. Any answers would be appreciated. Sorry if this was asked before. I tried to search, but couldn't find anything specific.

Thanks in advance. Oh, I was interested in the sketch letter carrier bag, if that makes a diff to anyone. Also does anyone know which stores sell them and if you can use your Disney Visa discount for it?

You may be able to save some money on the tax depending where you live. I know that Florida's tax is less than where I live (California) so I'm definitely planning on buying a lot off stuff...the problem I'm facing is how to bring it all back!

I was able to use my disney visa to get a discount on my d and b purse in wdw. This is not every store though, only some gave the discount. I know mouse gears in Epcot does as well as the emporiumin mk. I always ask before I start shopping if they give the visa discount or not.

I looked for a sketch medium tote bag my whole trip the first week of June. Never found one! Turns out only the Disney Store is carrying the medium sketch tote right now. A couple weeks before that I got a special deal from the Disney Store. If I used my Disney Visa Rewrads dollars to pay I'd get 20% off. I didn't do it b/c I wanted to hand select my bag so i could get the placement I wanted. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

The price tag itself will be the same. The only difference would be tax, as PP mentioned, or, if DisneyStore.com is having a sale. I know there was 10% online a few weeks ago. There is also free shipping online for purchase over $75, which I am sure any D&B would qualify for

The hardest part is just not being able to pick it out on your own. My retro DLR bag I had no choice, they were sold out online, and only 1 left in the parks. Thankfully, it was a good one.

Oh that stinks!! That's why I was going to order online also. Because they had the special with the 20% off. Now I'm more confused than ever. I didn't see your post until after the last post. So I still don't know whether to wait or buy online. GRRR! Such a hard choice.

I try to wait until the food receipts are printing the 20% off coupons... That's the best deal I've found for the D&B! They also sometimes have special in-park deals for discounts on the wallet when you buy the bag, etc.

They never have been the last 2 times they have released the coupons-don't know if maybe they changed something this time around... I'll be there Thurs and can confirm, I'm in the market for a new wristlet!
