Dooney & Bourke fans- great way to save $$ on handbags!

I love Dooney and Bourke but I'm also a bargain hunter. I found out recently a great way to save a ton of money on brand new D&B bags that ship directly from the D&B warehouse. Since I don't live near a D&B outlet, I thought I would have to take a big trip to get outlet prices but apparently not...you can call the Las Vegas outlet, give them the item number of the bag you're interested in, and they will look it up and tell you whether or not they have it in stock. They will ship it right to your house and it's free if it's over $100. I called and asked them about several bags (they were so friendly) and order a medium valerie signature bag for $117 (the same exact bag retails online from Dooney for $235). So if you love D&B, I highly recommend calling the outlet and seeing if the bag your interested in is available! Here's the QVC forum where I got my info:

I was so suprised when I found out you could do this and so I wanted to pass along the info to the budget board! Hope someone else gets a great deal!

Hi! All I can say is WOW!!! Thanks so much! I'm definintely going to check this out. I guess you just go to the Dooney dot com website and pick you bag out then call the phone number. That's my understaning anyway.

But I'm willing to bet they don't carry them. They are probably licensed by Disney, and exclusive to Disney owned stores.

frannn is right. The saleslady at the D&B outlet near me said their contract prohibits them from selling Disney bags in any D&B store, outlet or otherwise.

There have been reports that older style Disney/D&B bags, the pink Minnie faces in particular, have been showing up in Disney operated outlets though.
