Disneystore.com is having a 25% off sale of all all park merchandise (ends tomorrow at midnight PT) and that includes Dooney and Bourke. I'm wondering if the patterns offered on disneystore.com are the same at DLR or do the parks offer more and different designs? I'm leaving for DL in 11 days and trying to decide if I should take advantage of the sale or wait and see the different patterns at the parks. There is one pattern online I like but I'm not in love with it.

Is there a specific pattern/size that you are seeking?

Oddly enough, Disneystore.com has had a better selection of Dooneys lately. For example, the buttons pattern has been unavailable in many sizes for a while now (at least at Vault 28 and on Buena Vista Street), but it is easy to find online. I haven't looked carefully for a month or two, but the last time I checked the selection was not significantly better in the parks. So, go ahead and use that 25% discount. That plus the free shipping brought my total down lower than what it would have cost in the parks with an AP discount!

Thanks! Probably will go ahead and take advantage of the sale. I wasn't looking for a specific pattern, just wondering the difference between availability online and at the parks. Wondering if I shelled out the money for one online and then go to the parks in 2 weeks and find one I like better.

I finally decided that I will wait until we are in the parks next week so I can pick and choose and get exactly the one I want. The AP discount won't be as much but it will still be some off and DH doesn't know about the 25% off.

I think you can return items from the online store at the store in Downtown Disney.

If you buy something online, and then find something you like better in person, you could exchange it.

Some of the Disney Dooney patterns are really best chosen in person so you can get the best placement of the design.

Have fun!

I heard a while ago that restaurants were handing a 20% off coupon, good for any purchase at either park (DL & CA).

Can anyone confirm this?

I think by "patterns" you mean the images, not the type of bag.

I was at DtD yesterday. I saw almost all the the patterns shown on DisneyStore.com. I did not necessarily see each in the style offered on line. I don't recall seeing the Minnie Mouse bow or the Mickey striped, but I was only in DtD. I did not go into the Parks and the stores inside the gates that sell Dooneys.

I think I heard this, too. But I would call to verify, just in case.

Oddly enough, I've had really good luck with the patterns/design placement on my Dooneys from Disneystore.com. And the bags are not handled or mussed like some of the bags I've seen in the parks. But, of course, it all comes down to finding what you like, online or in the parks.

Have fun!

Haven't seen that promotion in at least a month, if not longer.

I really, really wish there were still Tink D&B's available from earlier this year. That has been my favorite pattern thus far.
