Gorgeous! I thought I didn't want a black bag, but this thread is making me want both the black and the white - not good. It's a good thing I have a tax return coming before my trip.

Okay, I'm committed -- backordered on the large white sketch thru merchandising - thinking of pursuing other avenues to obtain both the white and the black --- if someone has the LARGE white one - what are the dimensions --- on ebay someone has an XL up there - 14.5 across the bottom vs. 12 inches (on the black Wonder) --- is there an XL --- SOS peeps - It's snowing like mad dogs in NYC and I need to have this bag -- I like big bags so it would help for those who already have their precious hands on this lovely item if you could help us without with the dimensions...thanks to all!!!

Technically, there is not an XL tote. The white sketch pattern comes in Medium and Large. The black wonder pattern comes only in Large. However, the large white tote and the large black tote are 2 different sizes, with the white being larger.

The measurements of my large white tote are 13"H x 15"L x 8"W and the straps are 11".

It's actually pretty big, when it's unsnapped. If you look at the pic below - the sides are snapped shut.

Lemme see if I cant take a pic of this thing, unsnapped. I use it unsnapped. I also like ginourmous bags.

I know what you mean! In the beginning I did not care for the black one...but I guess it grew on me...thanks to all of my fellow DISers! I bought the wristlet first and when it arrived I loved it so much that I bought the tassel tote!

I am waiting on my birthday and then buying myself the large white one I think. I like the size of the medium white tote but those straps look like something I will hate all the time (I don't like straps to be stiff and in the way and they appear short for shoulder carrying). But now I'm worried that the large tote is ginormous so I have no clue. The sketch was the one I wanted in the first place so I don't really even want to look at the black or new pattern if its similar.....what to do ?

I do carry a rather large bag - at the moment it's a 4 year old coach patchwork which I think is a tote but that white large just looks huge compared to the others....
