Dooney & bourke disney collaboration

I wish they would release something soon... so i can make my decision as to which one i want to buy when I am there next week... I want one of each.

Can someone post pictures of both version#1 and version#2 prints? I'm no sure if I can determine the difference between these two. Thanks!

I do not have pics of both, but here is the easy way to tell:

Version 1 No Minnie, "Dooney & Bourke" is on a banner like WDW and DL are, the wristlet does not have a pocket

Version 2 Minnie is included, the bags have a leather Dooney label sewn on (the banner has been removed), and the wristlet has a pocket on the back.

Loving this THREAD! And loving the pictures and descriptions. I was there in Dec but only saw the black bag with the multi colored Mickeys. I wish the other had been there. Totally in love with it.

Going in 2weeks but only to Universal I know, so close but no Disney. I should mention we went to Disney at Christmas, so I think I'll be ok. I couldn't find the white purse anywhere the week before Christmas. I've talked DH into driving to DTD to look for a purse when we go in 2wks. I need to get this straight: WOD and Trends are the two places at DTD and the shop at GF has the purses. Any other non-park stores I can talk DH into going to check out? I've got my fingers crossed I find what I want. Thanks.

Someone said the Yacht Club had some recently, but I think your other stores you mentioned are your best bets.

Maybe they'll have the new pattern when you go. Here is the number to the Grand Floridian, just ask to be transferred to Summer Lace boutique.. (407) 824-3000. They can let you know if they have the pattern and size of purse you are looking for. Thought it might save you a trip over there.

The YC gift shop had them last week. At the time we were there they had just a few on display although the CM said they had "tons" more in back. I asked if he could bring out a couple more for me to look at (didn't like the placement of the ones on display) and he clammed up and said he'd have to ask the manager. Then the manager came over to me and said there were no more in back . I was thinking that maybe they're only allowed to have a certain number out at a time or something.

Based on what we saw last week, you'll definitely find a much bigger selection at WoD and TrenD.

Now I will really be in trouble in March! Might need to get one of each to go with my wristlet? How does one for my birthday and one for running the 1/2 marathon sound? I am also there solo for one night shopping here I come!

True, since shipping from WDW to Canada is $150 and that does not include duty! That is like the cost of a whole other bag!

None of us really know how long any of the designs will be available. However - print #1 with NO Minnie will sell out at some point, because that is the version that is not in print any longer due to licensing issues with Disney and Dooney. There still seem to be a lot of version #1 around right now, but once those are sold out they will not be available any more.
So if any are available come June - they should be the ones with Minnie on them. At least that is my guess.

I think I am addicted to these bags and this thread!

I just had two wristlets delivered from Disney, they sendt me the wrong version. I asked for version 1 but they sent me version 2! I just put them on Ebay to recover the cost. They told me I could return them but they would not refund the $20 in shipping cost that I paid. Also, I asked if I could return them when I am there in two weeks and they told me I had to mail them back.

So if you are ordering from Disney be very, very clear around which version you are interested in! I thought I was clear..but apparently that was not the case.

The shipping update on my new bag says it was in my state late last night. I am really hoping to get it by tomorrow since we are going away for the weekend and I want to take it with me. Plus, tomorrow is my birthday. I can't stand the suspense!
