ive been looking through the pics of all the other white dooneys listed on ebay and dont see any others with minnie. i find that pretty discouraging ..i think chances are strong the minnie one is a fake

I looked up the seller and there were a total of 3 Medium Totes and 1 Tassle Tote in the Sketch pattern. They could be fake since the photo is take a little further away and also that there are no close up photos of the product.

I have been looking at pics and comparing it to my bag and there are plenty of differences between the "fake" and the original...mayb they redid the white totes

I forgot to mention....and just remembered that when I saw the Minnie Sketch print I emailed the seller yesterday to see if she would email me additional pics so we could check them out.....she immediately emailed me back and said she would send them and so far no luck.

Just to clarify I was hoping it was a knock off on an individual basis so I, myself, would not want Minnie and be conflicted about it as I already have a white tote.

My post wasn't directed at you in a negative or accusatory way. You obviously did not mean it in a fecious manner. It was very obvious by your post. I was just presenting the flip side of the situation.

I was just stating how I hope it truly wasn't a fake and that noone was taken advantage of. It's Christmas and I'd hate to see that happen and have that person not even be aware of it.

Last night at downtown disney Tren-D had the both the black and white wristlets. All white tassel totes as had been sold.. have yet to see the bigger white tote since we arrived 12/20. Black purses available at both WOD and Tren-D including the new barrel tote. The new purse has yet to arrive.. had been told sometime before xmas

Thanks. I saw it. It's tough to tell about anything for sure with a single, distant pic. No interior shots of the tags, nothing. Interior details, zippers, etc. often give it away.

The design itself doesn't look unreasonable. There are parts, however, that look nothing like any of the other pictures I've seen of people's bags in this thread or on eBay. The Walt Disney World/Disneyland banner is combined, Minnie is present, and the tag in the front is leather (like the black bags). If those things had been seen on a known real bag, I would feel much better about it. I think the jury is still out.

On another note, I can't stand fakes being sold as real. That's such a nasty thing to do, to take people's money under fraudulent circumstances (illegal, too). I really hope for the sake of the people that bought this bag that it is real. If not, they may have recourse, especially if they purchased through PayPal. I participate on another board, The Purse Forum, and there is an entire section there devoted to people dealing with stuff like this on eBay. It is rampant, but the people there have a lot of good suggestions for how to get your money back.

hmmm...I wonder if that is a fake? How would only 1 person have that design? If any one see them in Disney send a picture or of the new one..I am really hoping for a black sketch pattern or a denim one

Maybe the Minnie version is an earlier version and the rest of us that got bags without Minnie are the ones with the modified version. Maybe they agreed that it looked to crowded with Minnie and that the tag needlessly covered up more of the print. It is true it could be a fake. I have to say if it turns out it is, it looks like a really good quality fake! I wonder if this mystery will ever be solved?!

I just took a really close look at my bag. I notice the D&B Banner is in the same exact spot where the Minnie is on the eBay bag. So the bag is actually no less crowded without Minnie.

Well I just got back from the grocery store to pick up some stuff that I forgot and to my surprise there was a UPS box on the steps...my new black Dooney tote and wristlet came...LOVE IT! I like the style of the black one better (the straps are longer which I really like living in cold weather and having to wear a jacket), but I sure like the print on my white one better.

Nice Christmas surprise, since I didn't pay for Christmas shipping.

Yes, it is the white Dooney wristlet. I don't want to hijack the photo from ebay but the new Sketch print appears to have a full Minnie on it as well as a new logo for the Disneyland and DisneyWorld on the purse. A few have sold already on ebay but there is one large white tote that clearly has Minnie on it. Here is the link:

I would love to have a white wristlet with Minnie on it but don't want to roll the dice with Disney Merchandise....

That is VERY odd!! Lots of things look the same, but lots look different, like there is a patch sewn on the front of that bag that is not on my white one.

I would be interested to know if they are knock offs. I think it is too crowded with the Minnie on front (regardless if it is in the place of a Dooney sketch).

I was just looking at some of the sketch wristlets listed on E-Bay. On my white tote, I have Disney World and Disney Land on the banners. On most of these wristlets it it says Dooney and Bourke. Maybe they have changed the pattern a bit. The bag that had the Minnie on it had Dooney and Bourke on the banners too, if I remember correctly........... I don't think that it was a fake. I think that the overall pattern has changed. Many Dooney's have the leather tag on the front of them. That is often a signature of them.
BTW, I got my black Mickey tote today from my best friend who just got back from Disney. They really are cuter in person that in pictures! I am so blessed to be able to have both of them.

When we visited disney world in November I did not see the bags in EPCOT. Only MK and DHS.
