So are the white purses officially discontinued and not going to be restocked?

Are you still able to check MK? Like I said previously, I was told there were none available when I was at DTD last Saturday, but I went to the MK to check. They had quite a few at the jewelry store on Main Street.

We didn't find any on Main Street when we checked on Thursday - I didn't go personally go in every store (just most), but I'm sure my oldest daughter did...we specifically talked about the jewelry store. Great day for MK on Thursday by the way - the early heavy rain and sudden drop in temp really kept the crowds thin - lightest I've ever seen during normal operating hours.

Also my youngest daughter was still there yesterday until closing (no, we didn't abandon her - she was with her school chorus performing in the Candlelight Processional) and she didn't see any suddenly appear. She just saw black ones.

I'm not saying there aren't any, I'm just saying every employee says they are disco'd and it seems like finding them on Disney properties is going to be like finding Hidden Mickeys, but without a book to help you.

That's just my opinion. I don't see any good deals coming on eBay, either...they're disco'd, the sellers know it, the black bags have a totally different character/style, Christmas is here, and people like me who just know that their daughter really only wants one gift and that's it - we will unfortunately drive the price up. That's capitalism. And compared to the Kate Spade raping I took for my wife last year, the jacked up prices on eBay will be relatively easy to swallow.

I have had one wallet in the past 10 years. 4 pairs of shoes. But I'm married twice, with 2 daughters and no sons - so I figured it out about 10 years ago...just get it - it's much cheaper than my therapy bill. She's willing to drive a 1999 Ford Escort from Palm Beach County to UCF, studies like crazy, works hard, and never complains about anything...all she wants is that purse. Just get it. Just get it...

i agree. looks like the secondary market is the best idea right now. the white bags are soooo cute. i like them so much better than the new print. there's no way to predict the future stock with wdw , but i will also just buy at auction. just don't want to miss this one. the large tote seems to have the best chance at good pattern placement. i just love the sketches of tink and mickey plus the wdw logo, not to mention dumbo. i think it's a really really great print. good luck to everyone. hope you find what you are looking for! also, can't wait to see the next print come january. hope someone posts as soon as those show up. thanks again to everyone who posted photos. i never would have known about these bags and i really love them!

It's a shame because it seemed like the bags where everywhere and anywhere in the parks before Thanksgiving. I'm actually supervising a UCF graduate student right now. If I see one, perhaps I could help you out. Keep us posted if you manage to get one.

Ebay prices actually no so bad currently. I am bidding $51 on a wristlet right for one of my friend's presents. The big bags are going for $190 and up with a few hours to go. Lots of supply has lowered the prices a bit. Good luck with your christmas shopping

Does anyone know when they're releasing these 'other' patterns? Because I really like the white one but it looks like it might be RIP for that one in the parks. And I'm not really a fan of the black ones. I'm going down in January and just want to know whether or not I'll be able to get my hands on one I like.

Gave in and bought the white print on ebay this morning. It is a perfect print placement for me so I will not have to stress out any longer. I will decide if I want a black one when we get there next month. I was so hoping the black would be in the same print as the white.

I just want what I paid for it through WDW merchandising and I'll pay for the shipping to whom ever is interested.

Seems we were looking at the same item. It stayed for days at $50 (I was highest bidder). It closed at $81.. more than my friend wanted to pay.

It depends on what you are talking about? There are different styles of both black and white purses........black purses are currently available in WDW and via WDW Merchandising and the white purses.......well it is being reported they are discontinued. They are available on Ebay and a few people have advertised on various threads on the Dis that they are interested in selling theirs.
