Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 4

You and me both! I always bought purses from Target or BOGO from Payless....I never understood how anyone would pay so much for a purse. Now 6 Disney Dooneys later....I can never go back

My iphone doesn't fit in the pocket on the mini barrel or the satchel. It's a hair too small on both and it does look like if it was stitched differently maybe it would've fit. Poor planning on Dooney's part, maybe they were planning with the iphone5 in mind.

Seriously?? The iPhone doesn't fit in the comic satchel either?? Wow thanks for letting me know that, I was going to order one Friday. But I don't want a bag that my phone can't fit it.
Does anyone know if an iPhone fits in the pink trimmed barrel?

I am tempted to take the extra stitching out of the pocket on the mini barrel, it's a fairly inexpensive bags as far as Dooneys go...

Yes!! Was only going to be at the DLH for 1 night 4 weeks before due date. Both my Dr's said I was ok to go. It was for an award ceremony for my work. After the awards, at midnight, I thought my water broke. Called my Dad who lives in GG, 4 miles from DL and he took us to GG Hospital. They said water had not broke. Got back to the hotel at about 6:30am, ate breakfast and took the shuttle to LAX. By the time our 45 min flight to Phx landed, I was getting pains 3 min apart. Drove straight to the hospital from the airport and first child was born 6 hours later.

Funny thing is, it was on 12/5, Walt's birthday!

Has anyone heard if DCL is planning Dooney and Bourke bags for the Inaugural Hawaii cruise. The inaugural Dream cruise had them and I know there is an Aulani pattern. I was wondering if the was any talk about a Hawaiian cruise themed pattern.

The thing about the satchel is that there are other pockets that it does fit in. I just use the slim pocket for hand lotion.

The iphone 4 fits in the pink comic pocket just fine.

The satchel really isn't that big. It holds a lot, but it's a cute little purse. I just put it up against my Cindy tote and they're very close in size. Because of the style of the satchel it's more compact than the tote. Good luck deciding!!

Thanks! I don't use my Cindy tote anymore because it's too big for me. It turns into a big dumping ground LOL, and it ends up hurting my shoulder. I don't know which one to get, but I'll figure something out LOL. Mainly I want a CC holder with better placement!!!

I'm guessing you have a much better chance receiving it in a timely manner buying from an e-bay seller than if you had bought from DS... says the person who just waited a full 2 weeks for DS orders to arrive.

Yikes! My first was born 4 weeks early too, that's shocking enough, I can't even imagine how I would have felt if I had realized I was in full on labor in an airplane.

My first inclination was to say no - but special patterns were released at the races, so I'm going with a solid maybe.
I would have loved a special Dooney for the Panama Canal cruise.

So I posted this on the facebook group a month ago, but I wanted to know what some of you guys thought. I think the colors have run on my 40th messenger!

Some people on the facebook group said it looked like something rubbed off on it, but I really don't think that's it: there's some blacks, some purples, and some pinks, and it's only near the pictures. (Really weird, right?) I've tried emailing D and B about it twice, but no response. Should I just give them a call?

I was catching up on the thread and realized your post got stuck on the bottom of a page and no one responded.

Interesting that the map happened to be right where the problem is. I think it has a smudgy feel to begin with.

Have you taken this any further with the folks at D&B yet? I'm guessing they would need to examine the bag in person since it's so hard to tell what's going on from a picture.

I've never had a Dooney barrel bag before, are they all the same size? It's smaller than I thought it would be....I can't imagine how small the mini barrel must be. I'm not usually big on pink, but like this shade. I think it will be great for summer!

Placement isn't really ideal with Minnie covered on the front, but it wasn't that important to me with this particular print since I got a pretty good deal on it.

I can't decide if I am going to buy anything tomorrow or not. I kind of want the mini comic barrel but I think I only want it to take advantage of the sale and not because I REALLY want it. And if I do order it I'll want to get the cc holder but then I'm scared I'll receive one with bad placement and then what will I do? That would be a waste of $15! What to do, what to do? Maybe the bag will sell out before I hop online to order and then I won't have to worry about it!

Lynn, are you afraid the 55th Wristlet will be gone when you get to DL, is that why you are wanting it tomorrow? Or are they already sold out in the parks?
