Where is the outlet in Connecticut? I did get the 40th anniversary wristlet when I was at Disney two weeks ago and I LOVE it. I finally broke down!

The Dooney outlet is at Clinton Crossing off I-95. I was wrong about mine. It's the sketch pattern not 40th anniversary.

I'm debating on which 40th anniversary bag to get and was looking at some on ebay. Does anyone know the difference between the letter carrier and the cross body? They appear exactly the same in the pictures I'm seeing, also the same dimensions. Retail price for each, however, is much different.

Hi Pam, if you go to this website on zannaland, she has all the 40th bags with pictures and their names. Sometimes ebay people can call the bags by their wrong names. http://zannaland.com/new-wdw-40th-anniversary-disney-dooney-bourke-purses/ The letter carrier is very small and is very thin. the messenger is much bigger but still a small purse. It has the large cloth strap. AGain, see the website for actual pictures with their names and prices. Hope this helps.

I was there the middle of June looking for a checkbook wallet. I searched everywhere; no wallets to be found. In fact, there weren't too many 40th anniversary D&B at all. I wrote WDW merchandising about the wallet and was told they should be available in late September.

I may be wrong, but didn't the 40 th anniversary of WDW start last October? If so, it would be over by this October. I know that is still awhile away. Maybe they will not be available after October.

WDW opened in Oct. 1971, so Oct. 2011 would be the 40th anniversary. It was for this reason I wasn't worried when I couldn't pick up a Dooney while I was there in May with my grandgals. Now I'm beginning to wonder.

I ordered on the 23rd and have not received my order. I spoke with them yesterday and they said it was being processed (which seems to be the step before shipping ). The person I spoke with said they are a bit behind on shipping due to the warehouse move. I want my bag!!!

You are right. Hopefully we will have lots of 40th anniversary celebrations left, and lots more Dooney's. I got my 40th anniversary dooney bag when we were in WDW this past February.
