Very surprised to report that I did not buy a bag this trip

Loved the design of the 40th bags and will eventually buy one but I truly do not care for the actual bags. The Kristen is huge, the bucket very wide, and the messenger strap is not my taste and no zipper. We return in Aug and a quick weekend in Oct so I'm hoping new bags in the 40th design will be released

We got back on Sunday night, and I didn't buy a bag. My DH kept encouraging me to buy one, but I couldn't decide which one I liked best. So, I think I'm going to buy one online tonight, because I can't pass up 30% off. Plus, I have $30 in Disney Store GCs that I got as bonuses for buying park GCs.

Okay...isn't it about time for a new design ? Not that I NEED to spend money on another...especially since SOMEONE on here got me started on the Disney Chamilia's. However, I think it's time for something new to drool over !

I agree! Although I am just getting into Disney Dooneys, I have been in to Dooneys for a while and have seen the Disney Dooneys online and in the parks. I am ready for a new fun design!

I purchased the weekender yesterday. I've had my eye on it for months on end, and DH finally said I can get it. I wanted to get it before my trip in a couple of weeks, I just hope it gets here by then.

P.S. I also have the large Mickey sketch, so it's my second Dooney. I really want a 40th Anniversary edition, but with hopefully a new house, don't know if it'll be possible.

The purse I bought yesterday has shipped today. I hope it comes by Easter. Guess what Easter bunny will be putting in my basket!

Tomorrow at this time we will be in the air on our way to Disney World I will be checking in at Old Key West and heading off to Uptown Jewelers at the Magic Kingdom to hopefully find my perfect placement 40th anniversary bag I cannot wait

Thanks, Liza I will make sure I take a lot of pictures I was going to go to DownTown first thing on Thursday morning to look at Dooneys but then I saw that Magic Kingdom is open til 1 AM and I just can't wait Talk about an addiction We stayed at Old Key West for two days/one night in December and loved it so we are really looking forward to having more time there

I solved the problem of what bag my daughter is going to bring to Disney with us next week!

I found a pattern for a messenger bag on etsy.com. I cut the mickey panel from one of the reusable shopping bags that they sell at the Disney Store.

I've got most of a second one done for me too. I used the same Mickey, but the bag is all black. I'm not sure I'll finish that one in time for our trip though.

I'm just wondering how to take care of my bag. It's been raining alot here and i'm just wondering what's going to happen if I accidentally get it wet.
I paid so much for this bag, I would hate to see it get destroyed.

I have one bag that has light leather straps. (The blue sketch messenger bag) It's got faint water spots from taking in out in the rain.

The treated canvas on the bags is very durable though. It has stayed very nice looking, and I don't treat my bags lightly.
