Dooney & Bourke Disney collaboration ~ part 3

I have a confession to make ... I didn't buy a single Dooney while at WDW. What's wrong with me??? I really liked the look of the balloon pattern online, but not even those did it for me. I was planning on buying the 40th bag, but when I saw them, they looked too much like the 55th DL pattern I already have. I did buy a 40th anniversary magnetic clip for our family bulletin board, though! Hey, at least I got something that marked the occasion!



I almost bought the red Harvey's bag from Uptown Jewelers but held off for something better, just in case. I did end up buying a really cute Ness bag and wallet from Epcot's English pavilion. Call me a traitor, but I really like it!

Here are a few pics. I'm not really a pink sort of person, but I thought these were really cute. The shop also carries a blue/green plaid pattern. The outside material is 100% wool. The purse costs $64.95 and the wallet $38.95. I thought the prices were reasonable for the uniqueness the pieces offer.

There are two rows of three credit card/ID slots right where my hand is, so there is plenty of storage in the wallet.

Size wise, I think the bag is pretty comparable to the 55th DL messenger bag, but it's much more organized inside. There are two pockets right on the inside of one of the outer walls of the bag and a zipper on the other wall.

FWIW, I briefly contemplated buying a 40th anniversary wallet but just couldn't swallow the $175 price tag. I have two Disney Dooney bags (the original Cindy medium tote and Tonal Mickey letter carrier) that were less than that!

Here is most of my collection. I still need to add the sketch Lucy, the new Minnie bag, balloon bags, 40th anniversary bags, and a tote will be posted once kids are back in school Tuesday. My husband is wonderful Is there a faster way to post pictures without using photobucket? Thanks

When I take pictures of the rest it will be only new stuff or things I just have not taken picture of yet. It will be one picture with them on bed. I am truly addicted But, they are so cute (most of them).

So, I'm new to the Dooney madness. I have 2, well technically 3. I have the small navy mickey face purse and a disneyland 55 messenger. Now, I also have a 40 messenger, but I bought it first, then learned of the 55, and held on to it until the 55 came in the mail so I could pick between the 2. I decided on the 55 because disneyland will always be held a little closer to my heart, even if it's the "world" I live next to now. Gonna ebay the 40 as soon as I get internet back, curse you brighthouse for taking a week to get a tech out!
So, using my droid (at least it has reliable internet) or else there would be pics.

My question for you lovely ladies is, since I ordered my 55 from online I didn't get to pick placement, and I didn't try to make any requests cause I would have been happy with a couple different scenarios/placements. Ofcourse NONE of those happened! My placement isn't BAD, but I'm not terribly happy with it.
Has anyone had any luck with something like that? Will writing an email or making a phone call to disney and/or dooney do any good? Or am I stuck?
Any help/advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I need to sell my Disneyland wallet so I can pay for my prescriptions, are stupid insurance screwed up and wont be set up until next month. Anyways, it has only been used about a month do you think $110 is a fair amount to ask for?

I am so excited. i have wanted a Dooney for a while but couldn't decide which one...so yesterday we went to Epcot and before we went in we drove over to the outlet mall. They had the Minnie Dooney's for super cheap. The Large domed one was $89.99 and the puchette was $29.99. I only got the domed one. They had about 4 when I left and about 6 pouchettes.
