In my first order, I got the large tote Sketch. I sent my sister to Downtown Disney last Friday since she was in California for business to look at their stock for me as well. She ended up purchasing the Erica bag in Blue for me. I also ended up ordering the Princess Satchel, princess wristlet, princess bucket, balloon wristlet, balloon patty pouchette, three of the cosmetic bags (which are the white balloon), the blue sketch wristlet (hoping it will go well with the Erica bag), and a regular white sketch wristlet. My first week noticing the bags and I went a tad bit overboard.

Did you really order that many bags in one go?

No I ordered it in three goes. Haha. My first order was on Thanksgiving and they were offering the 20% off already. That was the one with a bunch of random items but for the Dooneys it was just the large tote and the cosmetic bag. Then I decided while they were really on sale that I wanted to look at other ones. So Friday I placed my first order of just bags. When they had the larger sale on Monday, I wasn't sure if they'd offer the additional discount on the previous orders and I didn't want to miss out so I placed another order. I changed up the bags and all to see how it went. They did end up crediting me for the difference but originally they told me they wouldn't. I have of course only seen the one in person that I now have. So I'm hoping that I will like all of them but if not, I will just return them back to Disney. I was trying to coordinate the wristlet to use as a wallet with the bag which was why I was trying to stay within the same collections. The more I looked at the bags online, the more I liked them.

I would try it again if I was you. I was denied in my first email as well. They said I choose the 20% off instead of the 25% so it was that I picked the one sale over the other. However before I even could respond back, they sent me another email saying I could have a credit. I have since received no less than 8 emails with all of the others saying I'd get a credit. My credits have already been posted. They quoted in their email to me their price adjustment policy which says:

I sent an e-mail to Disney shopping today because I have not received an e-mail confirmation on the order I placed by phone on Monday I got a very fast reply from Sandra that said they only do e-mail confirmations for on-line orders She also told me my items were in the processing for shipping phase

How prior to the special did you order? I ordered mine around 11:55pm on Sat. night and the email came out Monday am. They honored it for me.

I did my Monday order online. I can see it in the system, but it still has not shipped yet. I ordered at 4am EST, so I would think that I should be somewhere fairly early on the shipping list.

The order I placed last week has shipped, but it's not here yet.

You might want to call. When I first spoke to the CM he didn't think they'd do it. I then told him I knew of several people who had their's adjusted. After a short wait he came back and adjusted my 2 orders. It may be a case of which CM you get.

I sooo MUST have either the bucket bag or the tote in the DL 55 pattern! I want to see them in person before I decide for sure which one though. I'm leaning toward the bucket bag, but I'm not sure from the pictures if it will be big enough for me or not. I wonder when they will show up at DLR?
Woo Hoo, so excited! Now I can buy a new bag to go with my wallet.

Now, when will they come out with a wallet in the sketch pattern?? Please, pretty please...

Stock has been somewhat hit and miss at DLR, but the last couple of times I've been there both Vault 28 and WoD have had wallets in stock. Trying to find one with nice pattern placement can be a bit of a challenge though, at least IMO.

I think I like the look of this one better than the tonal - although I have the tonal wristlet & love it! I hope they add it to disney shopping eventually. Do you like it....do you think it has enough space to use everyday or is it more of a smaller/travel size type of wallet?

My first package arrived today. I placed the order last tuesday.

I got the black princess wristlet and I am so excited. It's got Belle right over the front label. It's exactly what I would have picked if I had picked it out myself. A little Disney magic.

As for the cosmetic bag, I got the white balloon one too. It's cute, and just a little bigger than the wonder one that I have from the giveaway.

Now I am waiting for the order I placed on monday!

It works really well for me.
But the wallets I've been using most recently are this style D&B checkbook clutch, and a Coach pleated slim envelope wallet. Of course the D&B is exactly the same, and although the interior layout of the Coach is a bit different, the size is the same.
I'd definitely say it's a full size wallet.

I do find the coated cotton of the DL 55 wallet to be slightly stiffer than my all leather wallets, but not a big deal IMO. I just mention it as a heads up for folks who can't inspect them in person before buying.

Yep, I have a habit of overbuying the DL 55 pattern. If I see a placement I think might be better than what I already have at home, I buy it too. Of course DH invariably figures it out (maybe because I'm constantly asking everyone which one they like better) and he questions whether I really need more than one of the exact same bag... perfect pattern placement or not. So since I hate returning things, I sometimes put my extras on e-bay.

I've listed a couple of wallets and priced them about $9 over what you'd pay if you bought them at DLR (trying to cover some of the darn fees) and every time I've had at least one person e-mail and ask me to drop my price. I've never had that happen with any of the other size D&B bags I've listed, and I generally price them similarly - basically just trying to break even.

Long story to say that I think even people who are familiar with Dooney prices find it hard to justify the cost of the wallets.
