thanks hallowishes. i have totally lost it on these new ones! i am thinking about the satchel too, hoping it is a little larger than the wonder barrel style. this sale with the cosmetic bag etc is just way too tempting i guess! we were supposed to be at wdw this week and actually had to cancel and delay til next year, so i guess i am needing a disney fix! thanks again for chiming in.

I finally got through after calling several times today. I was able to get a $45 online gift card for the balloon satchel purse. No additional discount on the cosmetic bag since it was already a sale item. The CM was very nice and actually rounded the amount up to $45 even though it was $44 and some change. . Let's see if I want to use it on another Dooney

Hi Did they give you the credit right away? The CM I spoke with this morning said I would see it in my email within 48 hours-of course by then the sale will be over

Yeah, I was told the same thing about receiving it within 48 hours in my email. I figured at least they credited the money back since the fine print says they wouldn't. Maybe they will have another sale on Monday for "Cyber Monday"

I like the satchel better myself. I wasn't sure how good the closure would be on the drawstring bag. I always have bad luck with my purses falling out like in the car and everything falling out if it doesn't close all the way. Plus I like the two types of straps and it is a good size to fit a small umbrella (which you always need in FL). I believe I looked and the dimensions of the satchel are larger than the wonder barrel.

You may want to try hanging up and calling again as I called them at 5:55pm Et and got through and was off the phone in 27 minutes and 16 seconds (just checked my call log, lol).

thanks ptted! that's what i was thinking. i have definitely had my bag tip over in the car and everything is on the floor, so i usually prefer a zipper. i just looked at the dimensions for both online and the satchel is larger. guess i will go for that one! tough decisions tho , because all of the styles are really nice. if i didn't already have the sketch tote, i would be thinking about the susanna. well, glad for all who got their dooney's today with the bonus.it will be fun to hear about all the packages that arrive with the new styles.

that would totally drive me crazy. i was having trouble with the website earlier. it was running sooooooo slow. guess all this is still better than 3 am shopping on black friday waiting in long lines at the stores. i admire all who have the ambition for that, but i just can't seem to get motivated to get up that early

I agree! I called a little aftre 7 and waited only about 15-18 minutes. Got a total of $25 coming to me! Hoping for a cyber monday deal

When I added it to my order, I ended up paying $4.95 shipping, with only a $10 credit on shipping. Did others experience this pricing also? I placed 2 different orders so I could get 2 *** bags, and this happened on both orders.

Yup. I had the same thing happen and a few others mentioned it as well. I think we determined that maybe the cosmetic bag is just not eligible for the free shipping as the free shipping disclaimer does say that some items may not be eligible.

I got the black balloon satchel, and a black balloon mini margot. I really didn't need anymore, but I really like the balloon pattern. I'm trying to at least get different style purses than the Wonder patterns I have.

lol, i had gotten the black margot earlier and just went back for the satchel. not sure if i will keep both because i don't know how tiny the margot is. will have to wait to see when they arrive. i like this pattern as well, but then, i also like the sketch and wonder patterns too. it will be interesting to see the shiny finish on these. hope everyone likes their bags when they arrive.

This is what happened to me when I ordered yesterday. Was NOT going to buy another one since I just got one a week or so ago...got one of the sketch bags with a sale and free shipping and used my Disney Visa rewards, so it was free. So...got an email yesterday saying they had 20% and free shipping, so I had to look. And there were the new balloon bags...so, I gave in and ordered the crossbody style in black and got the cosmetic bag. I hope I like it! I couldn't decided between black or white...decided black because the sketch I Just got is white, and figured the black would look clean longer. Have the black tassel with the colored mickeys on it, and it still looks good.
Hurray for everyone who is getting a new bag on sale!!

the margot is the crossbody , which comes in black or white. the pouchette is called patty. it is only shown in white. hope this helps!

When you select the bag, it will give you a color choice...I ordered the balloon bag that's a crossbody style. The site showed it in white, but then when I clicked on it, it had the option to choose black or white. Just didn't have an image of it in black.

Just ordered a black wonder tote!! My first disney Dooney ever (although I do have a few regular Dooney's)! I seemed to be charged shipping for the cosmetics bag as well, and not only that, but when I put the code in it showed it listed as "not eligible for this order" even though my order shows that I did get (and pay for) the bag??!! The Disney site is so screwy..I hope everything is right!!
