oooh I hope so too. I loved the Disneyland bags but felt since I haven't been there since I was a really little kid that it didn't have special meaning to me. I would snatch up a WDW 40th one in a heartbeat

We got in a bit of trouble for posting offers to buy or sell on this thread. So a fellow Dis-er set up a Disney Dooney facebook page where those kind of offers are all good. You should pop over there and post about your extra wallet.

Disneyland is my home park, so of course I had to pick up a few items from the DL 55 collection. OK, I had to pick up almost everything from the collection.

But since I've only been to WDW a handful of times, I could probably pass on a WDW specific collection, so I'm all for that. It would be so much better for my budget! Unless they offered a small backpack, or it was waaay cute, or I decided to plan a WDW trip, or etc, etc, etc... OK, chances are I'd buy something anyway. Bring it on Disney and D&B.

Glad I found this thread!

I've been trying to decide which bag to buy for over a month now. I'm torn between the blue or purple sketch crossbody bag or the brown letter carrier bag. The photos above of the purple in person make it look SO GREAT and I think the purple would "hide" a lot of the use the bag will get...purple has never been my favorite color, but I think it sets the designs off nicely. I need to hunt down some "in person" photos of the blue. (I'm sure there are some in this monster thread somewhere!) I'm afraid the brown is too sedate, but I love the zippered pockets to keep my cell phone safe (not sure what I'll use the side pocket for since it's not really "secure" Any thoughts?

Here's my quandry...are these available in large quantities in the parks? I'm headed to WDW in mid November, and it might be nice to choose my own bag so I get everything where I want it....but I'm just wondering about the supply...?? Where are they being sold?

Thanks for any info & sorry if my questions have already been answered somewhere.

From what other Dissers have said, there are not a lot of the colored sketches in the parks right now. I'm sure that changes daily though, so hopefully there will be lots when you are there!

One last question...what is the length of the strap? I'm "Pooh-sized" and need a longer strap.

I love the blue. My fab color is pink and purple but after looking at all the pics of the blue I think I prefer it. I will have to post pics of my green one when I get it.

hello everyone!! thanks for all the wishes of my finding new disney dooneys on my trip! i returned today but alas, there is nothing new. i would like to post a short report of the bags i did see in the stores while i was there ... so i will be doing that as soon as all my pics upload!

alrite, well, let us start with the Grand Floridian .. the store being Summer Lace. VERY LOW/LIGHT selections.

Then, the Emporium at the Magic Kingdom has a VERY SMALL selection of bags, this is a photo of everything:

Lastly, Uptown Jewelers (thats the name of the jewelry store at the Magic Kingdom, rite? im pretty sure but i just started second guessing myself?)

World of Disney had a decent selection of all bags. the only place i saw any letter carriers was World of Disney and Uptown Jewelers. they both only had green and blue. i ended up buying a blue one with terrific placement.
also, worth noting, the store at Animal Kingdom Lodge now has Disney Dooneys as well!
