Dooney & bourke Disney collaboration part 2

Love your bags Hallowishes!! I am soooo excited about the possibility of the sketch accessories!! I wonder if that is part of the reason for Disney removing Dooney & Bourke from the sketch design....so that they could use it on other items? Or, do you think that D & B will produce the other items too, as Coach does with their tennis shoes, scarves, etc.? I'm hoping for quality items, not produced by D & B, so that my wallet gets a bit of a break - lol

i KNOW! it really helps to see a pic of it on someones shoulder! it is agreat bag, i think it is the most well constucted of any Disney Dooney so far! i didnt think i would like the brown leather handles but it is really beautiful in person!

LOVE the DL55 tote, Hallowishes!!!
Mine has been shipped from ebay, so I am waiting with baited breath!
Can not wait for mine! First time to get something from ebay.

But, I do believe when she said that they will be removing one of the colors and NOT doing one color in the new totes or whatever they decide.
AND they'll mass produce MORE of the top selling color and less of the other colors. That is what a market analysis is all about.

The second best seller is the blue (close second ) followed right behind by pink and purple. The green trails far behind.
Of course, this is what it is now.

I really am surprised the purple isnt as great as i thought it would be and im not a huge fan of yellow but it REALLY "POPS" on the sketch and now im really considering one! thanks for the info!

Hi ladies,

I'm surprised to hear that a merchandiser said that yellow is the best seller. Based on my very unscientific observations of hanging out at Disney a lot, watching what people are purchasing, and looking at the stock in the stores, I would have agreed with you Hallowishes and said that purple and pink were the hot sellers. It will be interesting to see what happens with the colors. I've asked several cast members about the plans for expanding the colors to other styles in addition to the letter carrier and wristlet, but everyone seems to have a different answer.

At MK and DH just surprised me with the hot pink Dooney bag. I was talking with the manager and he said there is a new Dooney Disney collection coming out in a little over a month. Bags will be princess themed.

This is a big part of what's holding me back on the tote, I have the Disneyland letter carrier and would rather wait and see what comes out next, it would be cool to have something from each design category.

Hmmm, not to sure about a princess bag (I personally think NMBC would be a huge seller), but im willing to bet it will be a big seller and I doubt it will have princesses. I'm thinking more along the lines of the sketch. Maybe some glass slippers, roses, crowns, maybe a magic wand, castle, jewels, etc.. I have a funny feeling that we'll all find room for at least a wristlet in our ever growing collections.

I cant wait to look at all the bags in Sept! I had thought I made up my mind that I was only going to get a purple, pink or yellow wristlett and just get an every day Dooney from the outlets up the road but if there is a new line out...Maybe..I will get an every day Dooney and a disney Dooney..

My bday is Aug 25th and I told DH I rather not get anything and just shop at WDW and Prime Outlet and he agreed.. I made sure he understood SHOP..lol Hoping for some True Religon jeans and a few Dooneys..

Me too!! I love the wonder tote but I can't seem to stop using my sketch tote. Was hoping for a purple sketch in the the wonder tote style. Not sure I'm feeling the princesses either...

This is way off topic but I have to vent! I was checking my bank account this morning and we ordered Dominos pizza Sunday and the total was $28 and some change. I gave the driver cash for a tip because I prefer to-not sure why. But, my account has the total as being an even $35.00 charged!!! I called my bank and they said Dominos can't get into my account and to talk to the manager, but I threw away the receipt so I will have to see if it has my last order still listed. It had to be the driver writing a tip in. Should I get a new card? Any advice would be appreciated

Back to on topic: a sketch umbrella would be cute and some type of shoes but as Hawky7 mentioned in another post they need to be done right. Keychain would be cute and a cell phone case!!! OMG! They need to do a cell phone case that will fit the iphone4 AND other phones!
