I finally caved and bought a new green letter carrier on ebay to add to my collection was trying to decide between the green and the purple but a green on with a great design placement was calling my name. It is my present to me for haveing to cancel our trip.

For all you Dooney and Burke lovers, I have a quick questions. I would love to buy one of these bags, but on the Disney store website where they sell them also they have a CA resident Prop 65 warning on all of them. What is on them that can cause cancer? I was just wondering?

You will love the messenger! It is so nice-the strap adjusts a lot and is wide and comfortable. Plus there is enough room inside for everything you need for a day at the park I will be using mine when we go this Christmas

I got the messenger bag a couple of months ago. I wanted the black and white Disney one, but they were not sure if they would be getting it back in stock. For what I put in it, the weight is ok to me.

Would you use the Harveys messenger bag as a purse? It looks so big, but the other bag looks so small.
I'm using a Lucky purse right now...

Almost everything here in CA has that warning. It's like the boy who cried wolf, hard to take seriously. I might be concerned if I were planning to ingest my handbag. The greater issue is probably with the workers in Mexico who handle the chemicals.

I wouldn't use it as an everyday purse. I don't have that much to carry around on a daily basis. I have used the smaller one more. I use the messenger if I know I am going to the car service dept, hair salon, etc to hold magazines, books, some work, to keep everything in one place. I know someone who uses theirs daily because they ride the train. She told me she puts a light sweater in it, her Nook, and other items. Hope this was helpful

I have a Lucky that I love . Got it mega cheap at the outlet store. When my daughter saw it she loved it too but by that time they were sold out so I had to go to Ebay for hers. She hates to carry a purse so I was so excited that she wanted one, I would have gone to any length...LOL. It was a great deal on Ebay too though.
Fossil is a big favorite of mine. The whole time I was waiting in line last week at Vault 28 I kept looking at the Fossil store right nextdoor and wishing Fossil made Disney bags.

I don't mean to make light of this, but really just about everything causes cancer in California. Christmas lights, yup cancer, sunshine, you got it cancer. Don't worry about it's definately been way over done.

To wdw I was going to be there the sametime as you. But DH got a job after being out of work for almost a year so it is a good news bad new kinda thing. Next fall for sure can't miss another halloween party.

Uhhh yeah what everyone else has said. California is required to put it on basically everything!! They have it on walls in hotels, in parking garages, I'll admit the first time I saw it, I freaked, then we lived in San Diego for a year about 4 yrs ago, and it's on everything...so don't worry. Cali is crazy like that. And yes the Boy who cried wolf is a perfect representation of the whole causing cancer thing!!!
