we think alike! it does look somewhat bigger than the brown colored letter carrier though? or maybe i am wrong!

I think the wristlets are so cute! But, I barely use the ones I have.. I usually carry too many things in my purse. Now, I still want one, but can't decide on pink, purple, or blue. Would love a letter carrier, but think I'll wait for something bigger like a medium cindy tote.

Wonder if they will start to phase out the white sketch print now that they have these in different colors.

Do you know how much the wristlets are?

The wristlets are $49 like the other ones. Although I'm not 100% sure, I think that the letter carriers are the same size as the brown ones. Yes, they are $155. The cast members were pretty clueless if they will be getting the other style bags in the different colors. The two I spoke to didn't really seem to understand the difference between the Dooney bags and the cheaper Disney ones they also sell. I would imagine that at least 1 or 2 of the totes will also come in all the colors and will keep an eye out. If they do phase out the white ones, it will probably take a long time. It seems like they have tons of them in almost every giftshop.

Yes, they do have the back pocket and the patch like the Sketch 2 wristlets, but they do not have Minnie. They're like a Sketch 1.5 or something. Not quite like the first ones, but not like the 2nd ones either.

I'm sure that with time, they will make the version with Minnie in these new colors. Another plot for us disney dooney addicts to spend more money

My uncle is leaving for Disney tomorrow and I know he would pick one up if I asked but I think I can wait til October when I'm there. The sketch print is something I'd prefer to pick out for myself due to pattern placement. Plus it will give me time to really decide which color I want. Although I was planning on looking for a second edition wristlet with a Minnie on it to go with my first edition Cindy tote. Might have to get both! Or maybe some of the bigger bags will come out in color before my trip.

Yeah, I think $155 is high for a little cross body bag considering my first edition Cindy tote was $175 when I got it last October. I wouldn't recommend paying the high prices on eBay unless there is guaranteed pattern placement because my guess is the bags will probably be available from the Disney shopping site before too long.

This was not a good thread for me to stumble upon. I love Disney and purses and will be heading down in about 11 days! I need to get my ducks in a row with my money, so my husband doesn't freak out when I pick one of these up! Which stores offer discounts? I have been reading the thread for the past two days and can't quite figure it out. I have the Disney Visa, regular annual pass, and DVC membership. Can I use any of these discounts? If so which ones, and how much are the discounts? Are there only select stores, like WOD, that I can use it at? Sorry so many questions, I am just behind here

There have been other auctions on Ebay with outrageous prices. Remember the cosmetic bags? The Disney Cruise Line bags? Someone willing to pay $285 will buy these. Of course, I have noticed the first week is usually when the "gotta have it buyers" pay these insane prices. If you check completed auctions for the disney dooneys, many are not selling for a lot of money like before. I will take someone's else advice that said.." Disney shopping will have these". Just got to be patient. I have a friend going to Universal next week. She might do Magic Kingdom one day only, will have to see if she can get me a wristlet. Of course, I have to explain character placement to her.

Not sure i wanna pay $155 for the cross over bag. I seen a awesome coach purse at the outlet for that price and its bigger. Guess I'll have to really think when we are down there in Aug.

These bags aren't everywhere yet. I'm here now and have only seen them in the Magic Kingdom. I wanted a pink wristlet but they were out Hopefully I find one tonight while I'm out!
