Do your friends do this? I'll be standing around, and, instead of a simple "hey," or "hello," they'll come up and kick you, or push you, or tug your backpack, etc? I freaking hate that. It's annoying as hell, and I don't see why they can't just come up, wave, say "hey," and NOT be an annoying little twerp.

Haha, I know I wasn't the only one. I see it ALL the time at school, when I'm walking around. My friends do it to me, others.

I honestly don't understand why people do it. I really don't.

Ah, chalk it up as one of life's little mysteries, I guess.

im not gonna lie.. id do stuff like throw a few friendly arm punches on my friends if i come up from behind them or something... i dunno why... they do it to me too... but its really a form of closeness if anything.. i only do stuff like that with people im close to or like... if it were someone i didnt like, id just give the boring "hey" if i saw them and nothing more

They do it because they want to. They are trying to be funny, not knowing that it hurts the other person.

Just be friendly. Wave, say hello.

Dont push, shove, hit, kick..ect.

I have a best friend who likes to fight with me a lot. I'm guessing because i'm the only person he's actually capable of beating up. He has yet to get me on the floor mind. I don't take much notice because he does stand up for me when anyone else tries to hit me(something they have learned not to do anymore.)

There's a fine line between it being annoying and bullying though.

I do it all the time to my friends, nothing painful, but I just mess around with them. We all do it to eachother, it's our thing.

But I can see why it's annoying.
