You book your flights for an upcoming long weekend at WDW, all happy and gloating 'cause you got a good rate on airfare, only to later realize you booked for the wrong weekend?
Gosh, I hate it when that happens. So much for the cheap airfare. I'm out $400 to change the dates on the tickets! AUGH! (I'm so mad at myself. But as my son said, "It's okay. We're still going to Disney World!" I like his attitude.)

The only way to look at it is you were meant to go when you are booked- forget about it and concentrate on enjoying your trip! In the real scheme of things that 400 in about 50 years will be forgotten! (well you get my drift) try to let it go so you can relax and enjoy

...not for a Disney trip, but my ex-husband had to make a last-minute emergency trip from Oregon to Texas for our son earlier this year. In my effort to "help" him with the logistics, I accidentally booked him to fly out on Saturday instead of Friday night -- to get the Friday flight was actually another $375, for a whopping $1100 total (for a trip that is just about $400 if done well in advance) American Airlines waived the $100 change fee since I called just a hour later to fix it, and I know I sounded totally desperate (which I was, since he was packing to go later than night based on the ticket I had thought I got him)....but still!!!

So when I booked my family's Disney World tickets a couple months ago, I double- and triple-checked the date before hitting that "purchase" button.

I know I would be beating myself up as well. Best just to let it go and enjoy yourself anyways. Try not to force yourself to skimp ( unless you must). I hope you get some great pixie dust on your trip!
