lol.....I think the year of the million dreams is a great concept and very giving of disney. But I dont want to go to the park hoping that we'll be picked just to get disappointed - I just want to go and enjoy ourselves. KWIM?

are the winners like everywhere? will it be hard not to think about it? lol...I think I'm making myself paranoid. I think we're blessed as it is just to be able to go and for the length of time. So I dont want to obesses over it. Esh I hope I dont at the parks.

I saw some people with the ears and fast passes....but not a whole lot. We experienced lots of little magic moments. Or first day there a CM at POP gave my DS4 a Tinkerbell pin and at Epcot he got to participate in a Mr. Potatohead decorating race (he got a certificate too!). One day when we were shopping at DTD, a few of the ladies from BBB (Bippity Boppity Boutique) asked us if we wanted some pixie dust....so they sprinkled us with it. It was very cute! :thumbsup2

The only way you'll obsess over it is if you make yourself. Don't walk into every single attraction wondering if the Dream Squad is around the corner. Just go, have a normal Disney vacation and enjoy yourself.

winners during our six day trip. The only two I remember were the MK dream fastpass winners. Both times they were riding BTMRR with us.

Well, I always try not to think about the chance at winning something because I want to actually enjoy myself and be surprised if we were chosen. However, when you are in a park and notice all the dream ears and fastpasses it does kinda make me sad.

I kinda wish I could totally forget about the concept in general.

If you choose not to obsess about it, it will just become part of the "background." I live next door to WDW and visit a lot, and dream fastpasses and dream ears have become just another part of the landscape to me. It's rather cool when you see people actually winning something, but other than that it's not a biggie unless you make it into one.

i know once i get there i will be so excited, that i wont even think about the "dream team"

During out trip this past March we didn't see any evidence that the dream team had been around. I plan on just enjoying myself and not giving it a second thought for our upcoming trip March '08.

just try to enjoy yourself so if something does happen...you can be excited and surprised, yk? I personally only obsessed over those silly ears because I spent a lot of time waiting for DH and the kids while they went on rides so everytime I saw the ears I just wanted them more and more! LOL And because I couldn't find princess pirate ears in adult sizes. :rotfl:
