Hi again! Just want to clarify and double check about closing out my bill and costs at the end of my cruise that starts and ends in Copenhagen. Is it safe to say since Disney is a US-based company that I can pay my bill in US dollars or use my normal credit card that I would use if cruising out of Port Canaveral? TYIA! Cheers!

Sure can - you will be billed in US Dollars, and pay any way you would no any other Disney cruise (cash, credit card, Disney gift cards, Disney Dollars, traveler's checks)

I saw this yesterday and wanted to pipe in and ask if anyone else remembers someone posting on here that their credit card was declined, b/c it was showing the end of cruise bill as a foreign charge - since the ships are registered in the Bahamas? Our next cruise isn't a Bahamas cruise, which makes me wonder what kind of travel alerts to put on my credit card. I had to put an alert for the Bahamas anyway last time.

This has been my experience. The final bill posts as a domestic charge from DCL in Florida. But I haven't cruised any itineraries other than Bahamas or Caribbean... yet.

I do know prepurchases of the photo packages do post as a foreign charge. I think Shutters is a Bahamas-based company.

What also happens is if you forget to tell your credit card company your traveling, and it sees something out of the ordinary it may flag the charge and put a hold on the card until they talk to you. Happened to us.

Yep, on-board charges always post to my card as "SHIPBOARD CHARGES D CELEBRATION FL"
