Thanks for thetip - my grandson asked 2 days ago if I could get him a pumpkin carved like MM - told him I would do my best. He was thrilled this morning when he came down to breakfast and there it was on the kitchen table!!! He said "I love it!!!!!" I do too.

If you really want one, i wouldn't wait that long. They are selling pretty fast, especially being on sale. If it doesn't matter if you get one for sure, then it might be worth the gamble!

I rushed out to Walgreens after work (I placed a phone call ahead of time) and confirmed that they had 4 Mickey heads available. Woo-hoo! They also had about 5 Pooh heads left on the shelf.

I picked out two of the "best" ones; there were a couple of paint distribution problems on one of them. The price at $9.99 is EXCELLENT for the size. They now sit on each side of my fireplace. They come with an electrical cord that you can plug into an outlet, and the tag says that they are good for indoor/outdoor use.

We love them, because they bring a little piece of MNSSHP into our home.
Thanks for the great tip, julezdisney. We'll enjoy these pumpkins for years to come.

Yep, I walked up to the register with two Mickeys and two Poohs, but when I sat them down, some of the paint on one of the Poohs had rubbed/chipped off. It was probably a total of about 1 square inch. Yikes! So I put that one back. I plan to touch up a few tiny scratches and spray all three with a coat of clear acrylic sealer. So, be careful not to bang them against each other or store them rubbed up against something else. I will take extra care packing up these babies!!!

Good idea! Sounds like I should just buy a can of sealer at Michaels, and I can spray them before storage. They seem fine for now, but I don't want to see any more "peelage." The price is still a bargain, IMO.

I opened up my Mickey pumpkin and noticed the paint problems too near the bottom. Nothing major, but apparently this is a widespread problem.

i hope that my local k-mart or walgreens still have these tomorrow. i have to wait for pay day but they are so so cute! hoping that i can use one as my centerpiece.

the best thing about pumpkins is that you can keep them up through turkey day!

No they do not qualify. I submitted my receipts for the month and the Mickey did not qualify for the $3 rebate.
