^Adding to that, if a bag comes loose and lands on the track, there is nothing stopping the car behind you from running it over and destroying the bag and possibly the ride.

I've also heard of idiots getting off the ride to retrieve an item, causing the attendants to emergency stop the entire ride.

EDIT: Sorry, not getting off as in exiting, but getting off as in wiggling their way out of the lapbar, and jumping off the ride vehicles while it is still in the ride portion.

You know, you think that until you see the day where there are tons of stuffed animals on the edges of the track, the cell phone that the person thought was secured...

You're making me picture that scene from Final Destination 3 here! One day on Mummy I was wondering if we were going to have Final Destination 4 experience due to the person who yakked on a cell phone (or tried to) for literally most of the ride.
