Don't skip the American Adventure!

American Adventure is one of my favorites. I always feel so inspired after seeing it. Haha. It's also a great way to escape the heat!

And I also second seeing the Voices of Liberty. They always put on a fantastic show. I went to their Fourth of July concert - WOW. So good. And they do a wonderful Christmas show during the holidays.

The America Pavilion is not to be missed in my opinion. They also have some small exhibits inside which are also worth some time (as are in all the pavilions). I think that's the best part about Epcot - being able to take it slow and take in all the details and history.

..so I did get a chance to see the Voices of Liberty this past week. I remembered your post, so I did video it! ;)

Oh when does the Voices of Liberty perform? That would be neat to see. We did American Experience today. I thought it was nice.

Then they are not capable of appreciating the "Magic" that is Disney. It is the absolute TOP of the chain in AA shows, the music, the stories are all near perfection. Until they altered the ending slightly because no one wanted to be reminded of the Twin Towers almost nothing has changed for 33 years. That is the sign of a show that cannot get any better.

It's to bad that those people have to miss out on something that they will never ever see anywhere else. It does, however, make it easy for me to find a good seat.

Wow, one can't be capable of appreciating the "Magic" because one does not like American Adventure?

The stories are not near to perfection - the Civil War segment painfully ignored slavery. The fact that it hasn't been changed (but it has) only means that it is either not worth changing, or too expensive to change at this point. I've seen actual actors portray a lot of history (try Colonial Williamsburg) so if you have the time, you might want to try that - you can see some history there.

Don't put extra words in my posts please. I didn't say that one couldn't appreciate some of the magic, what I said was that if one does not like AA then the part that is magic completely escaped you. The magic doesn't come from history book accuracy, it comes for the way the show is presented. Please don't even attempt to make me think that I should go to WDW for the lessons. I go there for the entertainment. If one cannot appreciate the skill, engineering and creativity of that show, then they indeed are not capable of appreciating the magic of that show and possibly any other show that Disney puts on. Make no mistake... Disney is an entertainment business not a school teacher. That said, I don't know of much of American Adventure that is far off from reality.

Also, please... Colonial Williamsburg is the most faked show that ever existed. It is a rip-off of alleged real places, play acted in period costume by a group of amateur show people. Williamsburg is actually less accurate then Disney in my opinion. I was tricked into paying to see the outside of buildings once, but, I can assure you it will never happen again.

I have seen it twice. That was plenty for me, but glad to hear that some appreciate it. I wish I had liked it better than I did.

The American Adventure is one of the best shows in WDW or anywhere in the world. As American like to discover other cultures , foreign visitors like to lean more about the STATES.

This is a balanced show show many parts of our history. Let's be honest , every one knows the Civil War and why it occurred and therefore knows the it ended slavery.
It is a 30 minute show and only so much detail can be included.

The production mix of medias are all top notch.

Frankly Disney should be praised for the excellent pro American production. As wonderful as this country, is there is absolutely nothing wrong with showing off a bit.
