So I'm asking all you CBR fans to tell me all about it. Less than 2 weeks and I'll be there and I want all the input you care to give!

I really enjoyed my stay at CBR. It as a very tropical, relaxed feel to it. Every morning we would get up early, enjoy the caribbean music along our walk to the food court, and have mickey waffles for breakfast. Then after some time at the parks we would come back to our room and hit the pools. We usually stayed away from the main pool since it was crowded with lots of happy children. The one day we did visit the main pool, we had a couple of tropical drinks at the bar. We also enjoyed hanging out by the hammocks and the lake watching the ducks. It was an overall enjoyable and relaxing experience. I'm sure you are going to have a wonderful time. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

CBR is awesome!

We loved it there....the tropical feel, the beautiful landscaping, I looked forward to the morning walk to the food court to fill our coffee mugs, big rooms, I think their pool bar is the best on property, just great batenders and drinks! People actually came from other resorts to hang out at the bar. We didnt eat at the sit down restaraunt on site but I have heard a lot of good things about it. Would stay there again in a heartbeat

We've stayed at CBR twice. The first time in Jan 1997, we liked it okay, but our honeymoon 2 years before had been at Dixie Landings (now POR) and we liked it better for a moderate resort. CBR's food court was small and cramped, but the resort itself was really pretty.

But we stayed there again December 2003 and were much happier. They had refurbed a lot of areas since our last visit. The food court is much more spacious and the rooms had been redone to make up for years of wear and tear. They've even added the nice heavy drape that separates the vanity/bathroom area from the bedroom space. My DH loves this so that when I get up first in the morning the sleeping area stays dark without that glaring bathroom light spilling in.:cloud9:

All in all, it's a very pretty and quiet resort to walk around in. I love walking along the water in the AM to get breakfast. :earsgirl:

I think you'll love it.

I also love the CBR ..agree with all of the posters......except we stayed one time at Dixie landings (now PO Riverside ) and wished we were at CBR!!

The relaxing tropical atmosphere can't be beat!!
:sunny:

Have a great trip!!:wave2:

Lots of people enjoy CBR! You might want to check out the two CBR FAQ threads listed below with all sorts of great informtion.

I just got back from CBR and we were in Jamica Bldg 44 room 4450! It was a great location 6 min walk to Old Port Royale and maybe 3-4 min ot the bus stop. Only problem was the pool area in Jamica was under construction so the pool was not open. We had fun feeding the birds, fish, and turtles ( I never realized how big those turtles were!) I loved the lush tropical feel and the beaches with hammocks as well :)

It's been 7 years ago, but we loved CBR! We're planning to stay there on our next trip, whenever it may be!
