Don't qualify for 7 for 4

I received my Disney Visa card yesterday. I just got off the phone with a CM who was on the line with Bank One. They said I didn't qualify for the 7 for 4 deal because I didn't receive a mailing for the offer. I thought this offer was good for all new Disney Visa holders. Has anyone booked this offer without a mailing?

I was able to book it without the mailing just last week. Have you called and asked Bank One direclty? Do that and then I'd call back Disney and talk to another CM.

I was just about to get the visa for the deal. Call them back and tell me what happens becuase if you cant get the deal without getting the offer through the mail then im stuck too.

I didn't get the mailing either. If they didn't check according to your cc# I would call back for sure!

I didn't get the mail offer either but, they checked my card by number when they called bank one and we were able to get it.

I just got off the phone with customer service at Bank One. She said that the marketing department at Bank One said the offer was not for all new Disney Visa holders. You have to be solicited by mail in order to receive the deal.

I told a co-worker about this deal. She applied for the card but didn't receive the insert when she got her card in the mail last week. We called and the CM called Bank One for her. They verified that she was eligible for the discount and was able to apply it to her reservation. I agree that you should call back and talk to someone else to see if you qualify for this discount.

within the past few moneths I got a couple of these in the mail but did not know about any deal. If i get the card through the phone or online will i still most likely be able to get this? I thought so but now im not so sure...

I called Disney back and talked to a very nice CM. She called Bank One and I was approved for the 7/4. Funny how things can change. Unfortunately, Pop Century preferred location was not available but the CM said to keep calling back that there was always a cancellation. She said that she would note in my account that I was approved for this offer so when I called back the CM wouldn't have to call Bank One again.

I got a thing in with my reservation from disney to apply for the Visa card offering 25 dollar disney dream reward dollars, big fat hairy deal.
I called to apply based on what was said here about the 4/7 deal if you got approved by end of this month.
So now you are saying that is NOT true and I need to somehow get them to cancel the application?

You're okay and doing the right thing. I haven't heard of any one who just got their card not being okayed by Visa. The most important thing to remember is when you call after receiving your card (you have to have the card in hand and activated) mention the Dreamaker 7 for 4 Visa package and say you heard that the CM needs to call bank one to see if you qualify.

It is a great deal but my 7 year old wants to stay in the Jungle Book section of Pop Century which is the preferred location. I would like to clear up part of my story. The first time I called Disney, the CM called Bank One and they said I did not qualify for the 7/4. They checked my card number. When I called Bank One, they said I did not qualify for the 7/4. They said it was only offered to certain new card holders who got a mailer. They also checked my card number. I called Disney again and the CM called Bank One again and this time I qualified. I guess the third time is a charm. Go ahead and apply and if you are told you don't qualify for the 7/4, keep calling back.

I didn't get the offer in the mail, but did qualify. I've spoken with 3 different CM's and was told that they could tell by the 1st 6 #'s on the credit card. I just received my confirmation in the mail for WL, even though I have since switched to Poly, the rate is for 7/4. I would call Bank One and continue to call Disney Reservations, you might just have an UNknowlegable CM. Good Luck!!!

No, it's in the 60's section of Pop Century. You do know tanner that there is only one icon tht is devoted to Jungle Book in this section. The rooms are also NOT decorated in a Jungle Book theme, so the only thing would be seeing that one Icon to staying in that section. You might not even be near the Jungle Book Icon if booked in the 60's section. You could be in a completely different area of the 60's building, maybe the otherside and then you really wouldn't be in the Jungle Book section. If you book in a regular room location, you could always go see it all the time, and continue to try to get that preferred view.
