I have been a wedding florist for 20 years and want to give some friendly advice to brides. I know that it is hot in Florida but Please please DONT put your bouquet in the fridge to keep it fresh before the wedding. Normal fridges are not like florists coolers...the flowers must have a certain humidity, air circulating and a certain temperature. Normal fridges are way too cold and dont circulate enough/any air. Your will end up with your flowers getting burned and turning brown. I have heard story after story of this happening to poor brides whos bouquets were ruined. Just keep them in a cool place out of the sun and they will be fine:flower3:

thank you, I never would have known this!!!

Random, but thank you. Very random :goodvibes

Yeah - I did not do that with my bouquet. After our reception I wrapped the stems in wet papertowels. I then used a small ziplock back and filled it with a little water and put the stems in this and just wrapped the bag around the stems and secured it with a rubberband. My flowers really perked up and they were perfect the next morning for our MK shoot.
