NinjaMom gets a piece of that action I am sure

I am frantically working on a "Snore Stop Styrofoam Cooler". It keeps your food cool and your snorers quiet!

Congrats to Wood Nymph for booking that trip! You must be floating on cloud nine! Are there any special plans yet for this next trip?

Doing the single digit dance!!!!!! 9 days until I can smile for a whole week! I will say it is most definitely needed. If anyone is around July 24-27, feel free to stop by and say hi! I'll be the one in the blue Nike swim trunks sitting alongside SAB with a margarita in one hand and my nephew in the other!

Anyone try going for pastries early from France?

How early can I bop over there?

We are traveling with another family and we both have deluxe club rooms--do any of you have any input on 2 rooms that are on same floor, big balcony that are deluxe? I think there are only 6 total rooms that are deluxe so we are looking for the best option so we can be near each other...thank you so much!:beach:

You will not be able to get 2 deluxe rooms that are near each other ......... other than directly under or over one ! That may be fun out on the balconies !
------------------------------------------------------------------
From the first page ...........

There are six deluxe Concierge rooms at BC.

1557 has a patio and lots of windows.
2557 and 4557 have extra large balconies.
3557 has the standing room only balcony.

3691 has both a standing room balcony and a full balcony
4681 has a standing room only balcony.

So 3 of the 6 have full balconies, 1 has a patio, and 2 have standing room only balconies.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

We have stayed in 4557. Great if you like a L-A-R-G-E balcony, and the top floor (in that BC section).
1557 is the same as 4557 but with a nice patio on the ground floor.
3557 is not great if you like a balcony.
2557 has a nice big balcony, but its not very private since 3557 is kind of open on top of it.

Dont know about the other 2 deluxes.

Note that the deluxe rooms are not very near the club lounge ...........its a little hike ! We do deluxe for the room size .......not for the CL , but its included anyway, :cool1: .

Great ! Can I pre-order one ????
Guess you just put your whole head in the cooler, and the styrofoam muffles the sound ?:rotfl2:
What if you have food in the cooler? Just stick your head in the cooler with or without food ............confused :confused3. :lmao:

Admitted snorer here. Can't deny it anymore. Last year we invited my dd's friend with us to Hershey park and stayed overnight. Girls in one room, boys in the other. I took a Benadryl and used one of those nose strips. I got great sleep and the girls did too. On my list for our trip next month.

Here is a quick one I worked up on 4 out of the 6 deluxe room locations.
These are 1557,2557,3557 and 4557.
All overlook the BC quiet pool, and face Epcot (No view of Epcot). Can see Illuminations ........ but only the higher fireworks.
You can see some of the large balconies on 4557 and 2557.
Large patio on 1557.
3557 has only a tiny standing room only balcony, BUT has an extra window that faces the lake.

All the deluxe rooms are similiar on the inside from the pics I have seen. They are H-U-G-E !!!

We LOVE 4557. Crossing our fingers for it in 2 weeks !:hyper: We even made a request for it . :thumbsup2

Picture ..............

Sorry, dont know too much about the other 2 deluxe rooms .........maybe we will in two weeks !

Hmmm..........Benadryl may work, thanks.
We are pretty close to Hershey too, but dont go too often. Actually we used to go a few times a week when my son played Ice Hockey for the Hershey Bears. Now he plays in Penn State.
We prefer Knoebles ........ more relaxing, athough its kind of old school .......in a good way though !:cool1:

Seems like we have a hard time at other "parks" since we go to WDW annually. Nothing compares to Disney !!!;)

Mostly packed!!! We have a 7 am flight on Saturday, so I'll be able to do a few things after work tomorrow. I am now in the "Not going to get much sleep between now and the trip" mode.

I have an update! We booked our trip for April - May. Our official dates are April 30 - May 5, 2014 - BC GV. We are very excited. :woohoo:

:cool1:

I'll do one more update of the list before I go.

One more thing...I am grateful for the politeness of this thread. I feel very comfortable asking questions and bringing up issues here. Thanks!

Thanks! We work really hard around here to keep things positive. I believe you can be helpful and informative and friendly and nice all at the same time.

Our tagline: Beach & Yacht Club FAQ- now with less snark!

:goodvibes

If you have a chance to update the list, I am on the general August list, but I have my actual dates now. They are 8/11-8/17. Down to one month now!! :)

Great!!! I'll add the dates to your listing.

:woohoo:

Good grief. You miss one day on this thread and subscribing to the new one and you're already on page 11!!!!! :rotfl2:

Oh wait...apparently it's page 20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

::yes::

Our clothes are packed! Now only DH has to pack his stuff. We are hitting the road at 10:30am and I'm guessing he'll pack his suitcase at 9am! Must be nice to only have to worry about your own clothes. ;)

I can't believe we leave tomorrow. This summer has gone by extremely quickly.

Is Johnny Depp still in the hot tub at SAB? Word around town is that Doug Flutie heard Dee was coming next week and he'll be at SAB Tuesday -Friday. :)

I joined the same dining thread Couchy posted on and I'll be submitting my food pictures there. Here's the link....http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3102192

Safe travels, my friend! Hope to catch you on the other side!

I have been working on my tackle-moves, so I am all set for you-know-who! And I think we are about the same height!!! :rotfl2:

Hi!!!!!

Very excited, we are going 10/1/14 to 10/10/14 and staying at the Beach Club!!

We were going to book a standard room/view, but now looks like we are booking a garden view. Nice!!!!

I stayed at Yacht Club in 2011 for parents 50th anniversary trip and dad sprung for a lagoon view :faint:, loved it, but now I'm paying and we're doing Beach Club!

I'm sorry, I posted another thread, but do I have to choose which beds I want - two queens, or one queen and twin, or king size- when I book? Or do I find out when we get there? It doesn't matter to us.

Thanks!!

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list on Page 1 (Post 13) of this thread.

:yay:

Most of the rooms at the resort have 2 Queens. Some also have an additional daybed. There are very few rooms with a King Bed instead of two Queens. You can add a request for a King Bed to your reservation, but it is only a request- there is no way to guarantee you will get that bedding type.

Call the Central Reservation Office at Disney if you want to place a request.

Do all the YC CL rooms have full balconies? Any with only the Juliette? Thanks!

As I posted on the CL thread, there is at least one room with no balcony at all. The room I know of is 5163. I saw it for myself! ::yes::

That is the only room at the YC I know about without a balcony or one of the smaller balconies. We think it is water view.

No appropriate smilie for this situation.

:welcome: to the DIS and to this thread.

Let us know when you book and we will add you to the Be Our Guest list.

Question about Deluxe rooms answered above.

Just booked our first time stay at BC tonight for October for F&W. can't wait. Sis & her DH are coming & hopefully our daughter & BF will be joining us. Booked garden view with AAA discount but hoping for AP discount.

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list for October

:woohoo:

Neuf?

Regular park opening, I believe. I don't think it is open for EMH when EPCOT opens early. Anyone have a different answer?

:)

Dee, safe travels! I see by the BOG list that you are checking out on the day we check into BC, so I won't get to thank you in person for all the work you do here as thread momma. I appreciate all the info I've found here, and the giggles you guys have given me while I planned our trip.

Hope your trip is full of great weather and tons of pixiedust:!!!

Speaking of...

I just posted a few more pictures from Teena, Bob, Jeanne and Princess Lily's trip to Newport on the Lily Goes Live thread (link in my signature)

This is my favorite!

Ninja- I have some from yesterday up on the thread. But these may be the last ones I will have a chance to post.

Ha!!! We thought you were signed off for your vacation! I received my marching orders about posting the pictures... I hope I'm doing it right!
